Personal air filtration apparatus and method
An apparatus and methods for air filtration are disclosed. The apparatus includes a body and first and second replaceable filters. The body of the apparatus further contains an air-exchange assembly and a filter receiver attached to the air exchange assembly. The air-exchange assembly contains an exhaust tube with an open end and a closed end, two wings on opposite sides of the exhaust tube, and an intake check valve and an exhaust check valve inside the exhaust tube. The first replaceable filter surrounds the filter receiver; and the second replaceable filter is inside the filter receiver. Several apertures and the check valves are strategically disposed in the exhaust tube to achieve optimal air filtration and avoid contamination of a user's exhaust.
Snow Burial Survival Mask
A snow burial survival mask has an exhaust tube connected to a headgear. An intake port of the exhaust tube is positioned adjacent to a breathing portion of the headgear in order to intake exhaled carbon dioxide (CO2)-rich air. An air pump connected to the exhaust tube pump the exhaled air from the intake port to an exhaust port away from the user's face, extending survival time in a snow burial situation. At least one burial detection sensor such as a motion sensor, light sensor and/or CO2 sensor is configured to activate the air pump based on detection of a burial event.
Attachment mechanism for face mask
A device for donning a face mask. Straps on either side of the back of the mask are connected to each other through a looped handle. When pulled by the user, the handles tighten the straps of the mask to create an airtight seal on the mask. The handles eliminate the need to separately tighten each individual strap to create the airtight seal and allow the user to tighten the mask even if the user is wearing gloves. The device may also include an adherent material attached to the back of the mask and the handles such that the handles have a resting platform once they are adjusted by the user.

Headwear Suspension Attachment Element
The present description provides components that allow a respiratory protection device to be secured in a position of use by attachment with a headwear suspension. In some exemplary embodiments, a harness adapter is positioned along a strap of a headwear suspension and includes a harness attachment element that may releasably attach to a strap component of a respiratory harness assembly.
Personal protective equipment for CBRN or other protection
An article of personal protective equipment, such as a protective glove, headgear, footwear, suit, or other protective device, wearable by a wearer for protecting the wearer against noxious agents, such as an article of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) personal protective equipment. The article of personal protective equipment may comprise a plurality of regions that cover different parts of the wearer's body and have different properties, such as different levels of protection against noxious agents, breath ability, heat loss capability, dexterity, tactility, stretchability, and/or another function.
PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR WITH ADJUSTABLE AIR SUPPLY
A protective headgear (1) comprising: a protective helmet (20) that defines an interior space (31), that comprises an inward major surface, and that comprises a forward window with a windowpane (27); a head suspension that is connected to the helmet; and an air supply module (50) mounted at least partially within the interior space defined by the helmet, wherein the air supply module comprises central, right lateral, and left lateral trunks (53, 54, 55) that are configured so that when the module is mounted within the interior space defined by the helmet, selected central, left and right areas of the inward major surface of the helmet combine with the central, left lateral and right lateral trunks of the air supply module to respectively define a central air supply passage and left and right lateral air supply passages for delivering air to a wearer of the protective headgear, and, wherein the air supply module comprises an external, remote handle (70) that is remotely connected to an air valve that is operative to control a rate at which air is directed into the central air supply passage in comparison to a rate at which air is directed into the left and right lateral air supply passages.
Powered air respirator kit
A powered air respirator kit comprising visor (9) removably attachable to a front edge of a safety helmet (4), a drive unit (1) removably attachable to said safety helmet (4), at least one filter module removably attachable to said safety helmet such that, in use, a fluid flow path is defined through said filter module to a space defined between a user's face and an inner surface of said visor, the kit further comprising a power module (10) removably attachable to said safety helmet and, in use, electrically connectable to said drive unit (1).
Buckle for connecting strap and respirator harness including the same
The present disclosure relates to a buckle for connecting a strap and a respirator harness including the same. In particular, according to one aspect of the present disclosure, a buckle for connecting a strap including a coupler configured to extend from one position, a strap connector at which a strap connecting hole is formed, wherein the strap connecting hole is connected to a strap which is connected to a mask body, and a hooking portion connected to the one position and including a surface configured to face the coupler, wherein a tap of a helmet or a tap of a head cradle is accommodated between the coupler and the hooking portion so that a position thereof is fixed, and a respirator harness including the same are provided.
