LENS MODULE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A plastic lens element includes an effective optical portion and a peripheral portion in order from an optical axis to an edge thereof. The peripheral portion includes a plurality of rib structures, wherein each of the rib structures has a strip shape in a radial direction of the optical axis, and the rib structures are arranged around the effective optical portion and indirectly connected to the effective optical portion.
POLYMERIZABLE COMPOSITION AND OPTICALLY ANISOTROPIC BODY USING SAME
The present invention provides a polymerizable composition containing a specific polymerizable compound and a fluorosurfactant having a specific polyoxyalkylene skeleton and having specific molecular weight. The invention also provides an optically anisotropic body, a retardation film, an antireflective film, and a liquid crystal display device that are produced using the polymerizable composition of the present invention. The present invention is useful because, when an optically anisotropic body is produced by photo-polymerization of the polymerizable composition, three features including the leveling properties of the surface of the optically anisotropic body, offset onto the substrate, and liquid crystal alignment can be improved simultaneously.

OPTICAL ELEMENT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING OPTICAL ELEMENT
An optical element is configured to transmit a light flux emitted from a light source having a single light source wavelength, and is formed from a material in which resin and glass fillers are mixed. A difference between respective refractive index change rates (dn/dT) of the resin and the glass fillers relative to a temperature change at least in a vicinity of the light source wavelength becomes 10.5×10.sup.5 or less.

COMPOSITION FOR TRANSPARENT SHAPED BODIES BASED ON POLYURETHANE
A composition comprising an isocyanate component A) comprising at least one cycloaliphatic or araliphatic diisocyanate, a polyol component B) comprising at least one polyol having an OH number of 80 to 1000 mg KOH/g, an additive component C) comprising at least one internal demoulding agent, and a catalyst component D) comprising at least one inorganic metal complex as thermally latent catalyst, characterized in that the thermally latent catalyst has a quotient of reaction rates between catalysed reaction and uncatalysed reaction at 30° C. of =5.0 and at 60° C. of =1.1. The present invention further provides a process for producing an elastomer and for the use of the composition for production of transparent shaped bodies.
Optical assembly with protective coating
An optical assembly including an optical element insert molded directly onto an optical stack is provided. The optical stack includes an optical film and may include a liner with the optical film being disposed between the optical element and the liner. The liner, if included, is removable from the optical film without substantial damage to the optical film. An outermost layer of the optical film may be diffusion bonded to a major surface of the optical element. The optical film includes a protective coating having an average thickness of no more than 30 micrometers. The protective coating includes an at least partially cured composition. The composition includes 70 to 96 weight percent of urethane (meth)acrylate compound having an average (meth)acrylate functionality of 2 to 9.5, and 2 to 20 weight percent of (meth)acrylate monomer having a (meth)acrylate functionality of 1 to 2.
RESIN COMPOSITION FOR HARD COATING, AND HARD-COATING FILM COMPRISING CURED FORM OF SAME AS COATING LAYER
This invention relates to a resin composition for a hard coating, including a siloxane resin configured such that compounds including an alkoxysilane and an alkoxy metal compound are chemically bound, and to a hard coating film including a hard coating layer formed using the resin composition.
