The invention discloses a solar lamp, including a base, a light source, a power unit, a lampshade, and a solar panel, wherein the lampshade is buckled on the base to form an accommodating space; the light source, the power unit, and the solar panel are all disposed in the accommodating space; the power unit is electrically connected to the solar panel and the light source; and the lampshade is made of a light-permeable material, wherein a plurality of light guide elements for guiding light are disposed on an outer side the lampshade.

Lighting system with curving or twisting modular housing

A luminaire includes a housing, light-emitting diodes and a light guide. A lateral direction from a top side to a bottom side of the housing is a preferred direction. A front side of the housing forms an aperture. The light guide substantially spans the aperture. In operation, the LEDs emit light toward the preferred direction, which light enters a light coupling surface of the light guide, where it propagates and is substantially retained by total internal reflection. The light guide includes light extraction features to redirect a portion of the light out of total internal reflection, so that some of the light exits the housing through the aperture. The light extraction features redirect some of the light so that more of the light exits the aperture between a normal direction of the light guide and the preferred direction, than between the normal direction and the non-preferred direction.

According to certain embodiments, a lighting apparatus includes a plurality of light sources that are arranged along a linear direction, and an optic that is configured to receive light from each light source of the plurality of light sources. The optic has an oblong shape with a long axis that is parallel to the linear direction, and the optic is configured to emit an output light beam that is substantially rotationally symmetric in a plane that is orthogonal to an emission direction of the plurality of light sources.

Desktop application manager: card dragging of dual screen cards

Methods and devices for selecting a card from an application stack, wherein the card represents a corresponding application that a user would like to make active or bring focus to. The selecting includes one or more of a dragging and a tapping action, with these actions being triggers for transitioning the device to an optional drag state or tapped state, respectively. Transitioning through this state executes the activating of a corresponding application or other action on the device to facilitate window/application/desktop management. The selecting further allows a user to specify which a touch screen (or portion hereof) on which a particular application should be launched.
