Through holes are disposed in front of the lens frame and positioned to correspond to the sliding slots. The assistant lens frame is disposed on the front side of the lens frame of the main spectacle frame. Positioning bumps are protrudingly disposed on inner sides of the assistant lens frame to correspond to the through holes on two sides of the lens frame of the main spectacle frame. Tip holes are disposed on lateral sides of the positioning bumps to be inserted by tip rods for positioning correspondingly.
Adjustable eyewear retainer
A device for retaining eyewear is disclosed. The device comprises one or more tethers rotatably coupled to a plurality of temple fasteners, the temple fasteners coupled to the temples of eyewear disposed on the ears of a user. More specifically, the device can further comprise a plurality of positioning members configured to couple with and rotate within a temple fastener to allow a tether coupled to the rotating position member to rotate relative to the head and neck of the user. The at least one tether can be disposed in various fixed positions relative to the head and neck of the user as well as relative to the eyewear.
Eyeglass system and method of engagement
An eyeglass system including primary glasses and detachably engageable auxiliary glasses. The auxiliary glasses include a first and second auxiliary lens connected together by a bridge. Each lens has an exterior surface, an interior surface, and a peripheral edge extending between the interior and exterior surfaces. An aperture is defined in each of the lenses and this aperture extends between the interior and exterior surfaces, and originates in the peripheral edge and extends for a distance into the lens. A connector is engaged in the aperture in each of the lenses and this connector detachably engages the primary glasses. Preferably, the aperture is keyhole-shaped and the connector includes a boss that is a complementary keyhole shape. The connector may be provided with a magnet that is attracted to a magnet embedded in a lens of the primary glasses.
FASTENING OF A STRUCTURAL PART TO AN OPHTHALMIC LENS
An ophthalmic lens fastening consists of a structural part and a sleeve. The sleeve is slidable into an elongated hole of an ophthalmic lens, and one end of the structural part is slidable into the sleeve such that a latching connection with a press fit is formed.
RIMLESS EYEGLASSES
A pair of rimless eyeglasses includes a pair of lenses, a bridge, a bridge fixing unit and an adhesive unit including two UV cured adhesive members. Each of the lenses is formed with an inner through hole. The bridge fixing unit includes a pair of bridge engaging members disposed on the bridge and each having a bridge engaging head, and a pair of bridge fixing members, each of which has a bridge fixing wall and a receiving space. The bridge engaging heads are respectively inserted into the inner through holes. The bridge fixing walls are respectively inserted into the inner through holes such that the bridge engaging heads are respectively and fixedly bonded to the receiving spaces through the UV cured adhesive members, which are disposed in the receiving spaces.
Universal cam action hinge and fastener with detent
An inventive hinge and fastener design includes a male connector having a plurality of lobes protruding from a pin, as well as a female connector having a plurality of indentations to accommodate the lobes. The male connector may also have an arm that rotates through a channel on the female connector and can be secured within the channel via retention teeth that protrude into the channel.
