20250291207 · 2025-09-18 · ·

This application discloses a liquid crystal dimming eyeglasses, comprising a frame, lenses, a liquid crystal film, and a circuit board. The lens is positioned within the frame; the liquid crystal film is attached to the lens and includes a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer, and a liquid crystal layer. The first and second conductive layers are arranged opposite to each other; the first conductive layer is equipped with an inner ring portion, an outer ring portion, and an etched portion, with the outer ring portion partially surrounding the inner ring portion. The etched portion is located between the inner ring portion and the outer ring portion, ensuring insulation between these two parts. The liquid crystal layer is situated between the inner ring portion and the second conductive layer. The circuit board is electrically connected to both the inner ring portion and the second conductive layer.

Provided is a pair of glasses with interchangeable lenses, including a lens, two pivot fasteners and a wearing piece. A mounting base is provided on both sides of the lens. A mounting base is provided with a stopper at the front section and a mounting hole at the rear section. A limiting portion is provided at the front section of each pivot fastener, and a mounting shaft extending downward is provided. Each pivot fastener is detachably inserted into the mounting hole by the mounting shaft. Each pivot fastener is pivoted relative to the mounting base between an unfolded position and a folded position by the mounting shaft as the axis, and the wearing piece is connected to the rear section of each pivot fastener. When each pivot fastener is pivoted to the unfolded position, the limiting portion is pivoted and forced into the inner surface of the stopper to be fixed. When each pivot fastener is pivoted to the folded position, the limiting portion is pivoted out of the stopper, and each pivot fastener is operable to disengage the mounting shaft from the mounting hole, such that each pivot fastener can be detached from the mounting base.

Prescription lens insert for eyewear

A prescription lens insert and methods of use are described, in which flexing a frame of a prescription lens insert, such that left and right rims of the frame are displaced mediolaterally, aligns respective larger ends of two keyhole apertures of the frame with left and right mushroom-shaped connector pegs protruding rearward from a pair of protective glasses. The prescription lens insert is then placed over the left and right connector pegs, such that distal heads of the connector pegs pass through the two keyhole apertures of the frame and the keyhole apertures are disposed adjacent shaft portions of the connector pegs. The frame of the prescription lens insert is then unflexed to align respective smaller ends of the two keyhole apertures with the left and right connector pegs, such that the distal heads prevent removal of the unflexed frame.
