A method for manufacturing an insole for a shoe. The method includes providing instructions to a person to attain a first pose; capturing a first three-dimensional image of a first foot of the person in the first pose; providing instructions to the person to attain a second pose, wherein the second pose is different from the first pose; capturing a second three-dimensional image of a second foot of the person in the second pose; generating a first three-dimensional model of the first foot from the first three-dimensional image; generating a second three-dimensional model of the second foot from the second three-dimensional model; manufacturing a first insole for the first foot based on the first three-dimensional model of the first foot; and manufacturing a second insole for the second foot based on the second three-dimensional model of the second foot.

SOCKLINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A sockliner includes: a base layer portion formed of a three-dimensional mesh structure body; and an upper layer portion formed of a sheet-like structure body that covers an upper surface of the base layer portion. The upper layer portion includes a through-hole group including a plurality of holes, and each of the holes is located inward from a peripheral edge of the upper layer portion without reaching the peripheral edge. In a case where a surrounding region is defined as a region between the peripheral edge and a position offset by 4.0 mm inward from the peripheral edge, the through-hole group includes an outermost hole group including a plurality of holes located closest to the peripheral edge so as to overlap with the surrounding region and to align along the peripheral edge.

LAYERS WITH CELLS IN FOOTWEAR

In some examples, a sole layer for a footwear includes a housing structure, a cell in the housing structure, a solid support inside the cell to maintain a shape of the cell, and an inlet to the cell to receive an injected material to dissolve the solid support.

Article of Apparel with Zonal Force Attenuation Properties
20200281315 · 2020-09-10 ·

An article of apparel, such as a sock or a shoe, is disclosed as having a foot-supporting area for extending adjacent to a plantar surface of a foot. The foot-supporting area has various zones of differing thickness that attenuate forces upon the plantar surface to different degrees. The apparel may be manufactured through a process that includes utilizing a force mapping device to obtain data relating to forces upon the plantar surface of the foot. The sock is then formed to have zones of different thickness located to correspond with the areas of the plantar surface subjected to different magnitudes of forces.

FUNCTIONAL ORTHOTIC SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR FOOTWEAR

An orthotic support structure or shell may be used with footwear intrinsically or as a removable and transferable device. The footwear may be a sandal assembly including a sole, a strap and an orthotic shell. The strap is attached to the sole and configured to secure the sole against the foot. The orthotic shell is positioned within the sole and formed from a semi-rigid material. The orthotic shell includes a heel portion configured to support a heel region of the foot, and a midfoot portion connected to the heel portion and configured to support an arch region of the foot, the midfoot portion comprising an arched shank having a curved convex shape. The arched shank is configured to deflect under a downward force applied thereon which reactively rotates the heel portion toward the heel region of the foot.

PARAMETER DETERMINATION METHOD, PARAMETER DETERMINATION DEVICE, AND PARAMETER DETERMINATION PROGRAM

An article of footwear includes an upper and a sole member connected to upper. The sole member includes a plurality of tubular structures. Each of the plurality of tubular structures is at least partially filled with a loose granular material.

Compression garment for neurological and circulatory disorders

A compression garment for a neurological disorder includes a body portion and a pad. The body portion may be operable to wrap around a foot and the pad can attach to an inner surface of the body portion. The pad can include an outward protrusion and/or an inward recess. A guide sleeve may be dimensioned to wrap together with the body portion around the foot, the pad being disposable between the body portion and the guide sleeve. A first tensioning band may be attached onto to first and second locations of the body portion and be operable to secure opposing first and second portions of the inner surface of the body portion to secure the outward protrusion and/or recess of the pad against the abductor hallucis and flexor hallucis brevis muscles of the foot. The outward protrusion can include a receiver for the metatarsal head.
