The waste toner conveying pipe is configured to convey the waste toner from the cleaner to the waste toner container. The cleaner is located between the photosensitive drum and the fixing device in a vertical direction. The developing device is located below the photosensitive drum. The waste toner container is located below the cleaner. The toner container covers at least a part of an upper surface of the waste toner container.
Cartridge and image forming apparatus
A cartridge includes a drum unit and a development unit. The drum unit includes a photosensitive drum, a frame, a transfer roller, and a cleaning member. The development unit includes a development roller, and a memory. The cleaning member is configured to come into contact with the photosensitive drum at a region between a development nip portion and a transfer nip portion in a circumferential direction of the photosensitive drum and at an end portion of the photosensitive drum in a direction of the rotational axis. The frame has an exposing hole through which the memory is exposed from the frame, and a recessed portion that is adjacent to the exposing hole in the direction of the rotational axis, and stores foreign matters removed from the photosensitive drum by the cleaning member.
REPLACEABLE TONER CARTRIDGE WITH INLET PORT FOR RECYCLED TONER
A toner cartridge for an imaging apparatus includes a housing to accommodate toner, and an inlet port and an outlet port formed in the housing. The outlet port supplies the toner to a developing device of the imaging apparatus. The inlet port receives a residual toner removed from an image carrier of the developing device as a recycled toner.
Process cartridge and electrophotographic apparatus
The present disclosure provides a process cartridge and an electrophotographic apparatus in which fogging is reduced so as to reduce an amount of toner consumed. A process cartridge configured to be detachably attachable to a main body of an electrophotographic apparatus includes a developing unit containing a toner, and an electrophotographic photosensitive member, wherein the toner is a toner that has a toner particle, and has a metal salt of a polyvalent acid at least on a part of a surface of the toner particle; wherein the metal salt of the polyvalent acid includes at least one kind of metal element selected from metal elements belonging to from Group 3 to Group 13, and a surface layer of the electrophotographic photosensitive member contains an acrylic resin or a methacrylic resin.
PROCESS CARTRIDGE AND DEVELOPING CARTRIDGE
A cartridge detachably mountable to a main assembly of an image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive member unit including a photosensitive drum; a sheet configured to remove a deposited matter from a surface of the drum, the sheet being in contact with the surface of the drum at an end portion of the drum with respect to a rotational axis direction of the member; and a developing unit detachably mounted to the member unit, the developing unit including a developing roller configured to supply toner to the drum, and a storage portion configured to store the deposited matter removed from the surface of the drum by the sheet.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a rotatable photosensitive member, a charging unit, a developing unit, a support frame, and a sensor unit. The sensor unit is detachably attached to the support frame in a direction that intersects a rotation-axis direction of the photosensitive member and includes a potential sensor, a support portion, a fixing portion, an electric board, and a linking portion. The support portion supports the potential sensor at an area from the charging unit to the developing unit in a rotational direction of the photosensitive member. The fixing portion is fixed to the support frame at a position that faces an area from the developing unit to the charging unit in the rotational direction of the photosensitive member. The support portion is positioned with respect to the support frame at a position downstream of the support portion in an attachment direction of the sensor unit.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
The image forming apparatus of the present invention includes a photoreceptor, a charger that charges a surface of the photoreceptor, an exposer that irradiates the charged surface of the photoreceptor with light to form an electrostatic latent image, a developer that develops the electrostatic latent image to form a toner image, a transferer that transfers the toner image onto a recording medium, a cleaner that removes residual toner on the surface of the photoreceptor, and an inductor. The photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate and a photoreceptive layer provided on the conductive substrate. The conductive substrate is connected to a ground via the inductor.
PRINT AGENT FILTRATION
A print agent filtration apparatus is disclosed. The filtration apparatus is to remove non-liquid contaminant from liquid carrier. The apparatus comprises an electrode having a first surface, wherein the electrode is to generate an electric field towards liquid carrier containing non-liquid contaminant. The apparatus further comprises a second surface to accumulate non-liquid contaminant removed from the liquid carrier, the second surface being formed at least in part from a ceramic and movable relative to the first surface.
