PROCESS FOR THERMO-ADHESIVE BONDING OF SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCTS

A process for thermo-adhesive bonding of semi-finished products includes preparing an inner sock, an outer sock and an impermeable membrane provided with a thermo-adhesive disposed on an inner surface and/or an outer surface of the membrane; fitting the inner sock onto a rigid reference shape; fitting the membrane over the inner sock; fitting the outer sock over the membrane; heating the outer sock, the membrane and the inner sock arranged on the rigid reference shape in an oven until at least partial melting of the thermo-adhesive; cooling the outer sock, the membrane and the inner sock arranged on the rigid reference shape until cross-linking of the thermo-adhesive and stable bonding of the membrane to the outer sock and/or the inner sock. Also, exerting a substantially uniform pressure on the outer sock, the membrane and the inner sock disposed on the rigid reference shape during cooling, so as to compact them.

MULTIPLE LAYER KNITTED COMPONENTS HAVING MULTI-BED AREA

In one aspect of the disclosure, a knitted component for use in an article of footwear may include a first knitted layer and a second knitted layer at least partially overlapping the first knitted layer. The knitted component may also include an interlooped area comprising the first knitted layer interlooped with the second knitted layer and a knitted loop structure that is adjacent the interlooped area and that comprises the first knitted layer freely separable from the second knitted layer to comprise a passageway. The first knitted layer has a first edge comprising a first opening of the passageway and a second edge comprising a second opening of the passageway. Each of the first edge and the second edge extend in a course-wise direction and the passageway extends between the first opening and the second opening in a wale-wise direction.

ARTICLES AND METHODS OF MAKING ARTICLES INCLUDING A COATING
20210186147 · 2021-06-24 ·

The present disclosure is directed to articles that include a cured coating that includes a matrix of crosslinked polymers and optionally a colorant (e.g., pigment particles or dye or both). The cured coating can include a matrix of crosslinked polymers. The cured coating is a product of crosslinking a coating composition comprising uncrosslinked polymers (e.g., a dispersion of uncrosslinked polymers in a carrier to form the matrix of crosslinked polymers), wherein the uncrosslinked polymers are crosslinked to form the matrix of crosslinked polymers. The matrix of crosslinked polymers can be elastomeric. The present disclosure is also directed to articles including these bladders, methods of forming these bladders, and methods of making articles including these bladders, where the bladders include the cured coating.

FOOTWEAR HAVING COVERED MIDSOLE AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

An article of footwear includes a bootie configured to enclose a wearer's foot, and a midsole secured to the bootie. The article of footwear further includes a knit upper secured on the bootie. The knit upper covers an exterior surface of the bootie and the midsole.

MULTIPLE LAYER UPPER FOR A SHOE

The present invention relates to an upper for a shoe, including an inner layer; an outer layer overlapping the inner layer at least partially; wherein the outer layer includes a plurality of cuts; wherein the inner layer includes a plurality of protrusions; wherein each cut at least partially overlaps at least one protrusion; wherein each protrusion causes an extension in width of its corresponding cut when the shoe is worn.

Shoes with knit upper portion

A shoe may include an upper portion constructed from a continuous textile (e.g., a knit textile) that includes multiple regions having different textile properties to improve the performance of the shoe, including durability and comfort. In some cases, the multi-region upper portion may include regions having different thickness and/or flexibility based on a location relative to a wearer's foot to better support the wearer's foot. For example, the multi-region upper portion may include a reinforcement region having a first thickness and a flex region having a second thickness less than the first thickness. As another example, the multi-region upper portion may include a reinforcement region having a first stiffness and a flex region having a second stiffness less than the first stiffness.

FABRIC INTEGRATING AT LEAST ONE BINDING PART

A fabric integrating one or more binding parts with a tie obtained by the following textile construction of the fabric: a) the fabric includes two superposed individual layers of fabric secured to one another, one outer layer on the tie side and the other inner layer lining the inner layer of fabric, b) several warp threads of the outer layer of fabric, called binding threads as they together form a binding loop, freely overlapping several weft threads of the same layer and/or several weft threads of the outer layer of fabric, called binding threads as they together form a binding loop, freely overlapping several warp threads of the same layer, with the inner layer of fabric, an eyelet for passage of the tie at the place where the weft and/or warp threads overlap, obtained by deformation and/or extension of said binding threads, at the binding location of the fabric.
