Musical watch case
A musical watch case including a case middle with surfaces for receiving and supporting a cover with a bezel, and a casing ring, and supporting at least one gong with a resonant part distinct from the walls of the case middle, which supports the cover via distinct and remote lugs included in the bezel or the case middle and which are arranged to allow vibration of the cover, and form, with at least one gasket, the only direct contacts between the bezel and the case middle, which includes, around an annular wall defining an inner chamber around the casing ring, and around all the other these lugs, a resonator ring integral with the case middle distant at every point from the bezel and from the lugs, forming with this wall an external radiating cavity.
Musical watch case
A musical watch case including a case middle with surfaces receiving and supporting a cover with a bezel, or a case back, and a casing ring, the case including at least one gong fixed to the case middle with a resonant part distinct from the walls of the case middle, which supports the cover via lugs included in the bezel or the case middle and which are arranged to allow vibration of the cover assembly at frequencies from 4 kHz to 6 kHz, these distinct and distant lugs forming, with at least one gasket, the only direct contacts between the bezel and the case middle, between which each lug includes a thin, elastic, median strip, more flexible than its solid distal end, and of smaller thickness than the smallest cross-section of these gongs.
Fixation Assembly, Electronic Device, and Wearable Electronic Device
A fixation assembly is configured to fix an electroacoustic transducer to a shell of the electronic device, and includes a first support and a second support. The first support defines a receiving space and a sound transmission channel communicating with the receiving space. The electroacoustic transducer is received in the receiving space. The second support is engaged with the first support and configured to restrict freedom of the transducer assembly cooperatively with the first support. Even when the electronic device is under extreme conditions, a relative position between the electroacoustic transducer and the fixation assembly remain unchanged. The second support is engaged with the shell to fix the first support and the electroacoustic transducer with the shell, such that the electroacoustic transducer is fixed relative to the shell, improving reliability of the electronic device under extreme conditions.
ARRANGEMENT FOR THE HOLDING AND VIBRATION TRANSMISSION OF AN ACOUSTIC RADIATING MEMBRANE IN A WATCH CASE
An arrangement for the holding and vibration transmission of an acoustic radiating membrane (10) in a striking or musical watch (1) case (2). The case includes at least one crystal (3) mounted on a middle (4) and a back (5) mounted on a side opposite the middle. The acoustic radiating membrane is held in a portion of the watch case, such as the middle by at least one connection part (12) disposed between a peripheral rim of the membrane or an edge element (11) of the membrane and the middle by acting for the holding of the membrane in a direction parallel to the plane of the watch. The connection part may be a screw screwed into a threaded opening (14) of the middle and coming into contact with the edge element of the membrane.
MEASURING SYSTEM FOR A PLURALITY OF MECHANICAL HOROLOGICAL MOVEMENTS
A case configured to receive a plurality of mechanical watch movements in the wound state, each movement being housed inside a compartment, configured to receive and maintain the movement according to a predefined orientation. In this position, the winding buttons of the movements are positioned facing respective microphones which are mounted inside the case. The microphones are configured such that they cancel the noises detected, such that the acoustic measurements of each of the movements are essentially not disturbed by the noises produced by the adjacent movements. Also, a method for testing a plurality of mechanical movements installed in the case, and to a testing system which includes the case. The movements are measured by a plurality of cycles of consecutive and successive measurement periods.
STRIKING OR MUSICAL WATCH WITH AN ACOUSTIC WAVEGUIDE ARRANGEMENT
A striking or musical watch with an acoustic waveguide arrangement. The striking or musical watch (1) includes an at least partially flexible waveguide (2) secured to a fixed part (8) inside the watch to guide the acoustic waves generated by a first portion (2) of the at least partially flexible waveguide towards a radiating element. The radiating element can include a watch crystal (3) connected to a bezel (5) and a membrane (4) for connecting the bezel to a middle part (6) of a watch case. The flexible waveguide is configured to change the direction of acoustic vibration from the first portion to the radiating element.
Acoustically resistive supported membrane assemblies
Water impermeable, air permeable membrane assemblies are described herein. In some embodiments, the assemblies include a polymer membrane and at least one support layer. Certain assemblies are configured to provide an acoustic impedance having phase angle of +45 degrees to 45 over a frequency range of 50 to 20,000 Hz.
ORIENTABLE BACK FOR A TIMEPIECE
A back (1) for a watch case (50), the back (1) including a first element (10) arranged so as to be screwed onto the watch case (50), and a second element (20) including an end face bearing a pattern (M), the second element (20) being mounted such that it can move in rotation about an axis (C) passing through the centre of the case (50), wherein the second element (20) has a brake arranged so as to hold same relative to the first element (10) in different angular positions about the rotational axis (C), the brake being disposed between the first and second elements (10, 20).
STRIKING OR MUSICAL WATCH PROVIDED WITH AT LEAST ONE ACOUSTIC RADIATING MEMBRANE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE MEMBRANE
A striking watch is provided with an acoustic radiating membrane made of metallic material or amorphous metal. The membrane takes the form of a loop with walls of a certain thickness to be connected by a first edge portion to a middle part of a watch case and by a second edge portion to a bezel fixed to a watch crystal. The bezel connected to crystal is movable with respect to the case middle via the membrane during the vibration of membrane once a sound is generated by a watch striking mechanism in the watch case. The membrane is configured with a wall of a specific thickness in an active region dependent on the mass of the bezel connected to the crystal, to obtain a frequency f.sub.0 of a first vibration mode.
