A cigarette rolling apparatus designed to form a cigarette by rolling a paper around a smoking material is provided. The apparatus includes a base, a ramp coupled to the base, a handle with arms pivotably mounted to the base and having rollers rotatably mounted to the arms, and a belt with first and second ends coupled to the base so that the belt extends along the ramp and around the rollers mounted to the handle. The handle in a load position forms a U-shaped pocket in the belt between the ramp and rollers to receive the smoking material and a portion of the belt on the ramp to receive the paper. Pivotal movement of the handle from the load position toward the front end of the base allows the rollers to apply compression forces on portions of the belt to roll the paper around the smoking material.

An insert system for use with a smokable (e.g., such as a pre-rolled or empty cone) including an internal partition for securing one or more flavor releasing mechanisms (e.g., flavored “click balls”) within a flavor mechanism holder and for use with a smokable item (e.g., a pre-roll cone, an empty cone, a pre-rolled or hand-rolled cigarette, etc.) is provided. The insert system is formed by rolling a section of suitable material to form an elongate member with an internal volume with a longitudinal partition. The longitudinal partition forms a compartment to receive and secure a flavor releasing mechanism held within a tubular holder. The insert system may then be coupled with a smokable to serve as the smokable's mouthpiece.

A method for making a composite web comprises the steps of melt blowing a first flow of thermoplastic material including said first thermoplastic material towards at least one collecting suction surface moving in a feed direction; dispensing a flow of particulate material including a particulate material towards the collecting suction surface in such a way as to intercept the first flow of thermoplastic material in an intercept zone; the first flow of thermoplastic material and the flow of particulate material intercept each other in the intercept zone at an intercept angle of between 1 and 90 sexagesimal degrees, preferably between 15 and 40 sexagesimal degrees.

A smoking article provides one or more sheets of material that can be rolled to a tube or shell or tube-like shape and then packaged in an unfilled or partially filled condition, one end portion of the tube or shell or tube-like shape being at least partially closed. In one embodiment, multiple sheets are rolled layers that can optionally be wrapped around a form casing (or pre-rolled inside) and then packaged with one end closed or partially closed. In another embodiment, a rod that assists in loading tobacco into the shell cavity is provided. In one embodiment, the plug takes the form of a mouthpiece.

A rolling paper structure and method for making a hand rolled smoking article wherein said rolling paper structure is filled with a filler material and rolled to form a smoking structure such as a cigarette. The rolling paper structure comprises detachable sections and it is configured to create smoking structure with an integrated mouthpiece.

A rolling paper (1) for rolling a tapered filter tip (2) for a cigarette (3), said rolling paper (1) comprising a flat paper body (4) comprising an upper edge (5), a lower edge (6), a first side edge (7, 8), and a second side edge (7, 8), wherein the upper edge (5) is positioned opposite to the lower edge (6), and the first side edge (7, 8) is positioned opposite to the second side edge (7, 8), and at least one folding line extending transversely to the upper edge (5) and the lower edge (6) and located closer to the second side edge (7, 8) than the first side edge (7, 8), wherein the upper edge (5) is larger than the lower edge (6), the upper edge (5) comprises an upper curved part, the upper edge (5) transitions into the first side edge (7, 8) at an upper corner (11), the lower edge (6) comprises a lower curved part, the lower edge (6) transitions into the first side edge (7, 8) at a lower corner (13), and at least one of the lower corner (13) and the upper corner (11) is a rounded corner (14).

Kit for producing a cigarette includes a cigarette tube holding a smoking material, a funnel having a length, a top face, a bottom face, and funnel includes a fold line along which bottom face of funnel is folded relative to the top face to form a slot and a closed bottom face. The funnel receives the smoking material through the slot and fills the funnel with smoking material for filling the cigarette tube. The cigarette tube is filled with the smokable material. The funnel is rollable into a filter, and the filter is inserted into an end of the cigarette tube, and the filter filters smoke from the smoking material and the cigarette tube when the cigarette tube and the smoking material are ignited. There is likewise a method of making a cigarette using the kit.

A conical smoking shell storage apparatus, comprising of a container having a top panel, one or more side walls, an interior and a plurality of lower frustoconically shaped inserts detachable supported in a generally vertical condition and parallel to each other via cooperating upper and lower openings. Multiple nested conical smoking shells can be supported in each of the frustoconically shaped inserts which provide support from bending, wrinkling, or damage to the sidewalls of the nested conical smoking shells with a plurality of upper frustoconically shaped inserts on the top of stack of nested conical smoking shells.

A machine for making a continuous tubular element with filling from web material, including first and second means for feeding respective continuous webs, a forming station configured to perform a folding and/or deformation of a first continuous web in a shaped configuration, and a wrapping station wherein the second continuous web is wound in a tubular shape around the first continuous shaped web to obtain the continuous tubular element. Upstream of the wrapping station there is a first gluing device configured to apply at least one longitudinal line of glue on at least one of the continuous webs in such a way as to define at least one gluing zone, said longitudinal line of glue being positioned in such a way as to coincide with a zone of superposing and contact between the two continuous webs feeding out of the wrapping station.
