A method of controlling a solar array including receiving current and voltage data from a plurality of solar modules of the solar array, calculating a diffuse fraction irradiance for the plurality of solar modules, mapping the diffuse fraction irradiance for the plurality of solar modules, generating a digital image of light conditions in the solar array based on the mapped diffuse fraction irradiance, defining zones within the array based on the light conditions in the digital image, determining a zone-specific solar tracker angle for each zone based on mapped diffuse fraction irradiance, transmitting the zone-specific solar tracker angle to a computing device associated with each solar tracker in the solar array, and driving the solar trackers of each zone such that the solar trackers that make up each zone are oriented to substantially the same angle.

Display and audio systems and methods for controlling positioning of displays and speakers based on viewer and listener attention are disclosed. According to an aspect, a display system includes a selectively adjust a viewing angle of a display for one or more viewers. The display system also includes a motorized mechanism that controllably positions the display in one of the positions. An attention detection system is configured to acquire movement and position data of the viewer(s). The attention detection system is also configured to determine whether attention of the viewer(s) is directed to the display based on the acquired data. Further, the attention detection system is configured to control the support assembly to adjust the viewing angle of the display for viewing by the viewer(s) in response to determining that the attention of the viewer(s) is directed to the display.
Mobile image pickup device
A mobile image pickup device includes an imaging unit (20), an acceleration and angular velocity detecting unit, a processing unit that processes acceleration and angular velocity information which is detected by the acceleration and angular velocity detecting unit, a reaction wheel that rotates based on a command value which is calculated by the processing unit, and a housing (10) that accommodates the imaging unit (20), the acceleration and angular velocity detecting unit, the processing unit, and the reaction wheel therein.

The controller is configured for: starting shooting at least one image through the camera; in response to the at least one image not including a portrait of a user, starting obtaining a first test audio signal input from the user through the sound collector; in response to the first test audio signal, determining a target azimuth corresponding to the user; generating a rotation instruction for the camera according to the target azimuth of the user; sending the rotation instruction to the camera to adjust a shooting direction of the camera to the target azimuth.

A system is provided. The system includes a tracker configured to collect solar irradiance and attached to a rotational mechanism for changing a plane of the tracker and a controller in communication with the rotational mechanism. The controller is programmed to store a plurality of positional information and a shadow model for determining placement of shadows based on positions of objects relative to the sun, determine a position of the sun at a first specific point in time, retrieve height information for the tracker and at least one adjacent tracker, execute the shadow model based on the retrieved height information and the position of the sun, determine a first angle for the tracker based on the executed shadow model, and transmit instructions to the rotational mechanism to change the plane of the tracker to the first angle.

A computer-implemented method of estimating a 6D pose and shape of one or more objects from a 2D image, comprises the steps of: detecting, within the 2D image, one or more 2D regions of interest, each 2D region of interest containing a corresponding object among the one of more objects; cropping out a corresponding pixel value array, coordinate tensor , and feature map for each 2D region of interest; concatenating the corresponding pixel value array, coordinate tensor, and feature map for each 2D region of interest; and inferring, for each 2D region of interest, a 4D quaternion describing a rotation of the corresponding object in the 3D rotation group, a 2D centroid, which is a projection of a 3D translation of the corresponding object onto a plane of the 2D image given a camera matrix associated to the 2D, image, a distance from a viewpoint of the 2D image to the corresponding object a size and a class-specific latent shape vector of the corresponding object.
