Releasable connecting device
A device for reversibly connecting together a first element and a second element designed to be alternately connected and disconnected includes a male element inserted into a female element to move from a mutually disengaged state to a mutually engaged state and a slider for actuation/release of the engaged state, which is slidingly engaged by the male element into the female element. The relative movement of the actuation/release slider and the male element is transferred to first releasable locking members of the male element, which cooperate with corresponding second locking members of the female element to move from a stable locked state to a stable unlocked state of the male element by a movement of the slider in the direction of insertion. Furthermore, the male element includes a handle having the slider at least partially and slidingly housed therein.
Rescue strap assembly
A rescue strap assembly comprising a connector, an adjuster, a mechanical advantage assembly, and a strap having a first end, an intermediate portion, and a second end. The first end is operatively connected to the connector and the mechanical advantage assembly, the intermediate portion is routed through the adjuster, and the mechanical advantage assembly is configured and arranged to engage at least a portion of the intermediate portion.
EXTENDABLE TWO-PIECE SEATBELT TONGUE
A seatbelt tongue includes a tongue plate, a latch plate, a guide pin and a first retention bump. The tongue plate includes a belt slot. The latch plate is slidably connected with the tongue plate and is translatable between a first position and a second position. The guide pin is fixed to one of the tongue plate and the latch plate. The guide pin slidably passes through a pin slot in the other of the tongue plate and the latch plate. The first retention bump in the pin slot defines a pin pocket receiving the pin in the first position.
PROTECTIVE HELMET
A protective helmet including a helmet shell for at least partially covering the head of a helmet wearer, and a holding strap arrangement arranged on the helmet shell for holding the helmet shell on the head of the helmet wearer. The holding strap arrangement includes a chin strap connected to the helmet shell, a first closure part connected to the helmet shell, and a second closure part connected to the chin strap and can be brought into closed connection with the first closure part, with a closure being formed. The closure automatically opens in a first closed position if a predetermined opening tensile force acts between the closure parts, and the closure parts separate from each other. In a second closed position, the first closure part and the second closure part are always in closed connection with each other irrespective of a tensile force acting between the closure parts.
SEATBELT BUCKLE DEVICE AND SEATBELT DEVICE
A seatbelt buckle device includes a buckle switch (40) having a switch substrate (42) and a slider part (50) which slides on the switch substrate (42) and a frame (20) which has a substantially U-shaped section and slidably holds an ejector (30) which operates synchronously with attachment/detachment of a tongue plate (1). The buckle switch (40) and the frame (20) are assembled integrally with each other as the a leg part (43) as a rear end of the switch substrate (42) is fixed to a side wall (22A) of the frame (20) through a switch substrate housing (45) and thus supported by the frame (20).
CHILD SEAT RESTRAINING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A child car seat system includes a car seat having a strap with a restraining device to secure over a body of a child; a sensing system to be incorporated into the restraining device, the sensing system having a first sensor associated with a first half of the restraining device; a second sensor associated with a second half of the restraining device; a third sensor secured positioned within a body of the restraining device; a control system in electrical communication with the first, second, and third sensors; and an alarm in communication with the control system; the alarm is activated via the control system when the first sensor and the second sensor are separated from one another, such as when the restraining device is unsecure; and the third sensor is to alert the control system when the car seat is occupied.
DEBRIS RESISTANT SEATBELT BUCKLE DEVICE
A seatbelt buckle device includes a housing, a frame, a latching arrangement and a release button. The frame is disposed in the housing, fixed in position in the housing and includes a bottom wall and first and second laterally spaced walls. The latching arrangement is operatively associated with the frame for selectively retaining a latch plate within the housing. The release button is in sliding engagement with the frame and movable between a latched position and an unlatched position. The release button includes a proximal end, a distal end and a first and second laterally spaced apart legs extending between the proximal and distal ends. The proximal end, the distal end and the first and second laterally spaced apart legs cooperate to define an opening into which a projecting portion distally from the proximal end. At least one shield member laterally extends from the projection portion toward the first and second laterally spaced apart legs. Each shield member includes an outboard side spaced from an adjacent leg of the first and second legs by a gap. Each gap slidingly receives one of the first and second laterally spaced walls of the frame.
BUCKLE DEVICE
In a cover of a buckle device, an engagement hook of a side wall of an upper cover is fit together with an engagement groove of a side wall of a lower cover to assemble the upper cover to the lower cover. When the side wall of the upper cover receives an external force, a holder of a buckle switch is sandwiched between a side plate of a buckle body and a rib of the lower cover such that the side plate receives the external force. Accordingly, the rigidity at the engagement hook of the cover is able to be increased.
LOCKING MECHANISM WITH ONE AND TWO STAGE LOCKING VERIFICATION
A control docking station system for controlling locking engagement between a first female member and a male member that together form a locking mechanism. The first female member is connected to a safety device. The male member can be locked to and released from the first female member. The system includes a controller configured to sense an unsafe interlock signal. A second female member is operably connected to the controller's housing. Each female member includes a receiver base and a pair of pivoting locking tabs, that is engageable with a key-like projection on the male member. The male member may be unlocked from the first female member when the controller senses an interruption to the unsafe interlock signal or if the unsafe interlock signal is overridden. The male member may be docked in the second female member during safe circumstances and/or the safety device is unused.
Locking mechanism with one and two-stage locking verification
Apparatus and method of locking two devices to each other through a receiver base, a pair of pivoting locking tabs, each having first and second arms extending out from a pivot point, and an insert that is partially engaged within a cavity formed by the receiver base and locking tabs. The receiver base is configured to be engageable with a first device. The insert is configured to be engageable with a second device. An optional push button assembly that has a retractable lip is engageable with the receiver base to block rotational movement of the locking tabs unless the lip of the push button is retracted. The apparatus may also include magnetic actuators and corresponding electronic switches that provide two stage locking and, optionally, provide contact state signaling to an external controller and computer to verify locked/unlocked status of the insert relative to the receiver base cavity and locking tabs.
