An anti-ligature restraint device is provided. The device includes a tub secured to a mounting location. A sealing element is inserted into the tub. The sealing element includes a restraint element slot to which a restraint is secured when the device is in an open position. The sealing element is disposed entirely with the tub in the closed position. A spring within the tub provides resistance to the sealing element as it is pushed into the tub and rotated to secure the sealing element within the tub. A lid lock secures the sealing element in the closed position. The device may be used in the concrete floor of a hospital room. In the open position, the device secures patient restraints. In the closed position, the device is flush with its mounting surface and locked, thereby preventing patient tampering or access to harmful elements thereof.

BUCKLE

Disclosed herein is a buckle including a plug member and a socket member. The plug member includes a shaft part protruding from one side of a first body, a first magnet inserted into the shaft part, a connection recess formed on the outer face of the shaft part, and at least one guide protrusion formed on the inner wall of the connection recess. The socket member includes a connection protrusion formed on one side of a second body to be inserted into the connection recess, a coupling recess formed in the middle of the connection protrusion so that the shaft part is inserted into the coupling recess, a second magnet inserted into the coupling recess, and at least one guide groove formed in the outer surface of the connection protrusion to guide the guide protrusion.

Magnetic assembly structure

The present disclosure relates to a magnetic assembly structure which utilizes a magnetic attraction or repulsion effect generated by two magnetic components to make two buckle structures automatically engaged to each other. The magnetic assembly structure of the present disclosure has a first main body and a second main body, and via the hardware design of disposing magnetic components and buckle structures respectively on the first main body and the second main body, the first and second main bodies rotate in respect to each other due to the magnetic attraction or repulsion effect, so as to efficiently engage the two buckle structures each other. Thus, it actually eases the installation and uninstallation of the appliance to which the magnetic assembly structure is applied, and the costs of installation and consuming time are reduced.

MAGNETIC BUCKLE WITH A DECOUPLING LIP

Apparatus and associated methods relate to a pair of magnetic mating buckles including a first buckle (205) and second buckle (210), the first buckle extending beyond the second buckle's outer perimeter forming an extended lip. In an illustrative example, the lip may be manually manipulated to separate the first buckle from the second buckle when the pair of magnetic mating buckles are in a substantially planar magnetic engagement. In some examples, one or more magnets may be fixedly coupled to the first buckle, and/or the second buckle. In some examples, the buckles may be coupled to various webbings. In an engagement example, the first buckle may be inserted through a coupling aperture (215) in the second buckle. The coupling aperture may include one or more corner notches, for example. Various pairs of magnetic mating buckles with overhanging lips may advantageously provide leverage to manually separate the buckles without tools.

MECHANICAL-MAGNETIC LOCKING DEVICE

A mechanical-magnetic locking device includes a first connecting component, a second connecting component and a magnet-armature structure. The first connecting component is provided with a locking element with a gap; the second connecting component is provided with a locking member matched with the locking element with the gap. A magnet is provided in one connecting component and an armature is provided in the other connecting component. The locking element with the gap is coupled with the magnet and the armature is coupled with the locking member. When opening the locking device, the magnet and the armature are relatively moved to each other, and the magnetic attracting area is substantially unchanged or increased, allowing the locking element with the gap and the locking member to move from the engaged position to the non-engaged position. The locking device has a self-locking function, locking with adjustable positions, smooth connection, good good haptic, not easy to open after connection and is stable and reliable.
