Techniques for determining sign language gesture partially shown in image(s)

In one aspect, a device may include a processor and storage accessible to the processor. The storage may include instructions executable by the processor to receive at least one image that indicates a first gesture being made by a person using a hand-based sign language, with at least part of the first gesture extending out of the image frame of the image. The instructions may then be executable to provide the image to a gesture classifier and to receive plural candidate first text words for the first gesture from the gesture classifier. The instructions may then be executable to use at least a second text word correlated to a second gesture to select one of the candidate first text words, combine the second text word with the selected first text word to establish a text string, and provide the text string to an apparatus different from the device.

DOCUMENT PROCESSING SERVICE FOR DISPLAYING COMMENTS INCLUDED IN MESSAGES

Content of a first comment corresponding to an electronic document provided by an online document service is received from a first client device associated with a first user. The content of the first comment includes a particular symbol followed by one or more characters that represent a second user. The content of the first comment corresponding to the electronic document is analyzed to determine one or more user addresses. A notification indicating the first comment has been received is sent to a second client device associated with the second user using the determined one or more user addresses.

SYSTEM COMMAND PROCESSING

Techniques for routing a user command to a speechlet and resolving conflicts between potential speechlets are described. A system determines an intent of an input command. The system also receives context information associated with the input command. The system determines speechlets (e.g., speechlets and/or skills) that may execute with respect to the input command given the intent and the context data. The system then determines whether conditions of routing rules, associated with the speechlets, are satisfied given the context data. If the conditions of only one routing rule are satisfied, the system causes the speechlet associated with the routing rule to execute with respect to the input command. If the conditions of more than one routing rule are satisfied, the system may determine a speechlet to execute with respect to the input command based on the speechlets' priorities in a list of speechlets and/or based on potential output data provided by the speechlets.

Systems and methods for data extraction using proximity co-referencing

Systems and methods for extracting data from unstructured data sources based on proximity co-reference resolution model. The method includes receiving an electronic document from an unstructured data source and extracting entities from the electronic document. The method also includes receiving fields to be extracted from the electronic document and generating keywords based on the fields. Each of the entities is associated with at least one of the fields. The method further includes identifying keywords in the electronic document based on the generated keywords and calculating, for each of the fields, proximity scores based on a proximity co-reference resolution model. The method also includes, for each of the fields, identifying a field-entity pair based on the calculated proximity scores and generating for display on a user device the field-entity pair.

Text description generating method and device, mobile terminal and storage medium

A text description generating method and device, a mobile terminal and a storage medium. The method of the embodiments of the present disclosure includes: obtaining the video content; performing text recognition according to the video content to obtain first text information, and displaying the first text information; and/or, generating second text information in response to user input operation on the video content, and displaying the second text information.

MODEL PERFORMANCE THROUGH TEXT-TO-TEXT TRANSFORMATION VIA DISTANT SUPERVISION FROM TARGET AND AUXILIARY TASKS

A computer-implemented method of performing text-to-text transformation includes performing a text transformation operation on an original input text of a specific task to generate a plurality of transformed text. A task-specific performance metric that measures an operation of the specific task is applied to each one of the plurality of transformed text. Each of the plurality of transformed text are paired with the task-specific performance metric. A training dataset is updated to include each pairing of the plurality of transformed text with the task-specific metric.
