METHOD OF GROUPING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN MEMBERS IN A CONSTRUCTION MODELLING PROGRAM
A computer implemented method of automatically identifying the components that belong to the same connection between members in a model existing in a building information modelling program. The method includes accepting a user selection of a portion of the model for processing; processing the selected portion of the model to identify connection components; and sorting the identified connection components into connection groups using a set of rules.
DESIGN OF GRIPPING TOOLS FOR A LASER CUTTING MACHINE FOR SORTING PARTS
A design unit and a computer-implemented method for calculating a design data set for designing a part-specific gripping tool for gripping parts that have to be transported from or to a processing machine is disclosed. The method includes the steps of providing part parameters for at least one part which is to be gripped with the part-specific gripping tool and executing a design algorithm which designs the part-specific gripping tool from the part parameters provided and thereby outputs a gripping tool data set as a result.
LAYOUT CREATION DEVICE, LAYOUT CREATION METHOD, LEARNING MODEL GENERATION DEVICE, AND LEARNING MODEL GENERATION METHOD
A layout creation device is configured to include processing circuitry to acquire position data indicating an installation position of an electrical appliance installed in a space, and to create layout data indicating a layout of the electrical appliance for the space by giving the position data and usage condition data indicating a usage condition of the electrical appliance to a learning model.
VIRTUAL MANUFACTURING USING VIRTUAL BUILD AND ANALYSIS TOOLS
A virtual build of an assembly may be performed by operating a virtual build tool inside of an active session of design software that is configured to design an assembly having multiple individual parts; importing characteristics of the assembly from a three-dimensional (3D) model of the assembly that is maintained by the design software; receiving an input of sequence numbers that indicate an assembly order for the individual parts; generating images for the individual parts as they are incrementally added to the assembly based on the sequence numbers; and generating a set of build instructions based on the sequence numbers and the images for the individual parts, where the set of build instructions illustrate how to physically manufacture the assembly.
AUTOMATED CIRCUIT DESIGN VALIDATION
The present disclosure provides a circuit design validation system. In one embodiment, the system includes polygon extraction circuitry to determine, based on layer images of a fabricated integrated circuit (IC), a plurality of polygons associated with a layer of the fabricated IC; and cell pattern matching circuitry to search the polygons defined within a layer image of the fabricated IC to determine a match between a cell template of a standard cell library and the plurality of polygons defined within the layer image of the fabricated IC.
Technique to Change Garments Within an Existing Image
A system automatically generates apparel collection imagery from user-provided imagery. The user-provided imagery includes images of people wearing one or more garments. The system uses segmenting analysis to analyze the user-provided image to identify locations of the garment. From the locations of the garments, the system can determine which garments from an apparel collection can be used to replace those in the user-provided imagery. The system uses pose estimation on the user-provided imagery and modifies a preview image of a replacement garment from the collection. This modified replacement garment image is used to replace the garment in the user-provided imagery.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPE GENERATION APPARATUS, THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPE GENERATION SYSTEM, THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPE GENERATION METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
A three-dimensional shape generation apparatus includes circuitry configured to perform one of a first processing or a second processing to generate three-dimensional shape information using point-group information indicating three-dimensional point groups as a generation processing based on an instruction operation received at an instruction reception screen, the instruction operation designating one of the first processing or the second processing. The circuitry performs all processes or a part of processes of the generation processing based on an operation input received at the instruction reception screen in response to the instruction operation designating the first processing. The circuitry performs all processes of the generation processing using a stored processing previously stored in a memory without using the operation input received at the instruction reception screen in response to the instruction operation designating the second processing.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPE GENERATION APPARATUS, THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPE GENERATION SYSTEM, THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPE GENERATION METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
A three-dimensional shape generation apparatus includes circuitry configured to generate three-dimensional shape information indicating a three-dimensional shape corresponding to a three-dimensional point group based on multiple sets of model shape information set by a model setting operation and point-group information indicating the three-dimensional point group. The model setting operation received at a reception screen sets the multiple sets of model shape information each indicating a three-dimensional model shape.
Non-conformal domain decomposition with imprints at interfaces with boundaries for finite element analysis
A computer aided design can be decomposed into multiple domains or regions in a domain decomposition method, and then one or more finite element method boundary conditions at an interface between the domains can be imprinted on the faces of the domains at the interface, and then mesh generation can be performed independently on the domains. Thus, nonconformal domain decomposition can use the imprinting of the boundary conditions to improve the results of the independent mesh generation.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OBJECT DESIGN
In some examples, design parameter data for an object can be received based on user input. A set of design criteria for the object can be received based on the design parameter data. A search of a learned design virtual reality (VR) database can be implemented to identify a set of candidate designs for the object based on the set of design criteria. The learned design VR database can include a plurality of previously determined designs for the object. Each candidate design for the object can be simulated in a simulation environment based on a learned design simulation database and optimization criteria to identify at least one new design for the object. A ranked design list can be generated ranking each candidate design and the at least one new design for the object based on ranking criteria.
