Smoking article having hidden indicia
Smoking articles include a marking that includes an indicia that is hidden when viewed from certain angles and visually distinct when viewed from other angles. The marking may be provided on a wrapper, such as a plug wrap, a smokable material wrap, or a tipping paper wrap. The marking may include aligned embossed and printed features with a portion being misaligned. The marking may include a coloured adjacent or surrounding region into which the indica may be hidden and from which it may appear, depending on the viewing angle. The marking may allow a consumer to identify the smoking article as genuine, as opposed to counterfeit.
Method and Apparatus for Manufacturing Aerosol Generating Articles
A method for manufacturing cylindrical inductively heatable aerosol generating articles includes: (i) supplying a plurality of cylindrical aerosol generating articles to a plurality of first receiving portions of a first transfer unit; (ii) supplying a plurality of inductively heatable susceptor elements to a second receiving portion of a second unit; (iii) aligning a longitudinal direction of the first receiving portions and a longitudinal direction of the second receiving portion; and (iv) sequentially positioning one of the inductively heatable susceptor elements in each of the cylindrical aerosol generating articles by sequentially moving each of the cylindrical aerosol generating articles supplied to the first receiving portions and the inductively heatable susceptor elements supplied to the second receiving portion relative to each other. An apparatus for performing the method is also described.

Wrap Tatz
There are no tobacco wraps in the world that have a design on the exterior of the smoking unit. This is the feature that makes the invention unique from other wraps.
Pulverized Leaf Cigarette Structure
A pulverized leaf cigarette structure consisting of a smokable cylinder that is made of one hundred-percent (100%) pulverized leaf, such as tobacco or cannabis. Means for applying pressure facilitates a quantity of pulverized leaf to be formed into a cylinder with significant structure integrity. Once the pulverized leaf is within the means for applying pressure to the pulverized leaf is compressed into the cylinder shape. The pulverized leaf cylinder is then removed from the means for applying pressure and can be smoked. An extract obtained from a flower or bud can be infused into the pulverized leaf to increase the potency of physiological reactions from certain types of pulverized leaf.
AUTOMATED DEPOSITION OF HIGHLY VISCOUS FLUIDS INTO THIN-WALLED CYLINDERS
Disclosed are systems and methods for automatic infusion of concentrate and distillate material into cigarettes or other containers. In one embodiment, a thermally-controlled infusion system is provided. The system can maintain a selected temperature of the concentrate material throughout the infusion process, using a two-stage approach. In a first stage, the concentrate material is pressure-fed to a dosing chamber. In the second stage, the concentrate material is pumped into an insertion canula and into a cigarette or container. A revolver houses the cigarettes or containers and vertically transitions them to an insertion position, where the insertion canula can infuse the cigarettes or containers.

CONE LOADING, WEIGHING, FILLING, AND TWISTING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MASS PRODUCTION OF SMOKABLE CANNABIS OR HEMP PRODUCTS
An apparatus for mass producing smokable products filled with cannabis, hemp, and/or other smokable materials includes a cone loading station that separates individual paper cones from stacks of cones, a cone weighing and filling station for dispensing precisely weighed amounts of powdered biomass into the cones, and a cone twisting station for twisting ends of the cones to complete the smokable products. A transport mechanism is provided to transfer the cones between stations and hold the cones during filling and twisting. The invention also provides a method of manufacturing smokable products that enables production steps to be performed simultaneously while also providing for capacity expansion within a limited production facility footprint.

CIGARETTE CLOSURE DEVICE AND METHOD
It is the object of the present invention to reduce the amount of labor that is required for distal closure of a cigarette or joint by providing a device and related method for folding and dimpling the distal tip of a joint through single actuation.
