IDEA ASSESSMENT AND LANDSCAPE MAPPING
Embodiments of the present invention include systems and methods for systematically evaluating idea quality in accordance with specified rules. In addition, such assessments may also be used to initiate workflows for improving the quality of a given idea. Some embodiments may provide for assessment of the novelty of idea in real-time (e.g., during an innovation or ideation session). Such initial assessments may further be updated in real-time as the idea is discussed further. Such assessment may rely on voice-activated and intelligence-driven searching of various data sources to identify the context of the idea so as to provide an objective basis for the assessment.
Patent mapping
A system and computer implemented method are provided. The method comprises maintaining a database of patent portfolios and a database of patents, with each patent stored in the database of patents being associated with one or more patent portfolios stored in the database of patent portfolios. The method includes receiving a search query associated with a first patent portfolio; searching the first portfolio as a function of the search query; generating a seed set of search results including one or more patent claims associated with the search query, the patent claims including terms from the search query; automatically generating an expanded set of search results including one or more patent claims further associated with the search query or associated with the patent claims in the seed set of search results; and mapping the one or more patent claims to a patent concept.
IDENTIFYING UTILIZATION OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
A computer-implemented method includes determining a set of identigens for each word of patent claim elements to produce sets of identigens and interpreting pairs of adjacent identigens of adjacent sets of identigens to determine a most likely meaning of the claim elements and produce a claim entigen group. The method further includes determining a level of match between the claim entigen group and a comparison matter entigen group. When the level of match between the claim entigen group and the comparison matter entigen group is greater than a threshold level, the method further includes indicating potential utilization of the claim by the comparison matter or potential prior art status of the comparison matter.
METHOD, DEVICE, AND SYSTEM FOR OUTPUTTING DESCRIPTION OF PATENT REFERENCE SIGN
A method for outputting a drawing reference number description regarding a patent drawing reference number according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include recognizing a size of a patent drawing and a position of a drawing reference number included in the patent drawing and acquiring a relative position coordinate of the drawing reference number in the patent drawing; setting a relative position coordinate of the drawing reference number description corresponding to the drawing reference number based on the acquired relative position coordinate; and outputting the drawing reference number description on the set relative position coordinate, thereby outputting such that the drawing reference number description corresponds to the drawing reference number.
Patent claim mapping
A system and computer implemented method of patent mapping are provided. The method comprises maintaining a database of patent portfolios and a database of patents, each patent stored in the database of patents associated. with one or more patent portfolios stored in the database of patent portfolios; maintaining a database of ontologies, the ontologies including one or more patent concepts in defined groups; receiving a search query associated with a first patent portfolio; searching the first portfolio as a function of the search query; generating search results, the search results including one or more patent claims associated with the search query; and mapping the one or more patent claims to a patent concept in a defined group.
COMPUTER AND NEW OPERATIONS REGARDING TECHNOLOGY USEFULNESS
A computer includes a computing entity (CE) processing core section, a technology level (TL) co-processor section, a system database section, and a memory section. The database section stores TL data operands regarding quantified technologies and the memory section stores a CE operating system, a TL operating system, TL system applications, and TL user applications. The CE processing core section executes the TL operating system and the CE operating system. The TL co-processor section executes one or more TL system applications, in accordance with control of the TL operating system and the CE operating system, to produce TL data operands regarding usefulness of a quantified technology from a large number of MSBTP documents.
COMPUTER AND NEW OPERATIONS REGARDING TECHNOLOGY PROTECTION
A computer includes an improved computer architecture, one or more computing entities, and one or more system databases. The computer retrieves patent planning data pertaining to a market-technology unit (MTU) from the system database(s). The computer generates a plurality of multi-year plans based on the patent planning data and a plurality of patent positions. The computer calculates patent expenses and value of the MTU for each of the multi-year plans. The computer generates and displays, via a GUI, a digitally formatted graphical representation of each plan, its expenses, and its value. When a selection of a multi-year plan is received via the GUI, the computer finalizes the selected multi-year plan; and stores a graphical representation of it, its expenses, and its value in a system database.
COMPUTER AND NEW OPERATIONS REGARDING TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT
A computer includes a computing entity (CE) processing core section, a technology level (TL) co-processor section, a system database section, and a memory section. The database section stores TL data operands regarding quantified technologies and the memory section stores a CE operating system, a TL operating system, TL system applications, and TL user applications. The CE processing core section executes the TL operating system and the CE operating system. The TL co-processor section executes one or more TL system applications, in accordance with control of the TL operating system and the CE operating system, to produce TL data operands regarding technical challenges, level of innovation, and ideal protection of a quantified technology from a large number of MSBTP documents.
COMPUTER WITH IMPROVED COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE
A computer includes an improved architecture of a computing entity (CE) processing core section, a technology level (TL) co-processor section, a system database section, and a memory section, which stores a CE operating system and a TL operating system. The database section stores TL data operands regarding quantified technologies and the memory section further stores TL system applications, and TL user applications. The CE processing core section executes the TL operating system and the CE operating system. The TL co-processor section executes TL system application(s), in accordance with control of the TL operating system and the CE operating system, to produce TL data operands regarding quantified technologies from a large number of MSBTP documents. The TL co-processor section executes TL user application(s), in accordance with control of the TL operating system and the CE operating system, to produce a digital representation of a characteristic of the quantified technology for display.
Document analysis method and apparatus
The present disclosure relates to a document comparison system (100) for comparing a first document (D1) with a second document (D2). The first document (D1) includes at least a first section having at least one first section entity (CEn), and the second document (D2) includes at least one second document entity (CEn). The document comparison system includes a processor (110) and a memory device (120). The processor is configured to identify the at least one first section entity (CEn) in the first section of the first document (D1). The processor conducts a search of the second document (D2) to identify the presence or absence of one or more second document entity (CEn) corresponding to or equivalent to each first section entity (CEn) identified in the first section. The present disclosure also relates to a dictionary generating system; a document comparison method; a dictionary populating method; and non-transitory computer-readable medium.
