METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR DYNAMICALLY ASSOCIATING UWB TAG WITH OBJECT

A method for dynamically associating an ultra wide band (UWB) tag with an object by an electronic device is provided. The method includes monitoring, by the electronic device, a first object and a second object in vicinity of the UWB tag over a period of time and determining, by the electronic device, a parameter associated with each of the first object and the second object with respect to the UWB tag. Further, the method includes generating, by the electronic device, a correlation between the UWB tag and each of the first object and the second object based on the parameter and dynamically associating, by the electronic device, the UWB tag with one of the first object and the second object based on the correlation between the UWB tag and each of the first object and the second object.

OBJECT IDENTIFICATION AND DUPLICATION SYSTEMS

Systems and methods disclosed for use in identifying and duplicating objects, particularly access devices such as house keys, office keys, automobile keys, and RFID key fobs. Within a singular housing, the customizable systems may include any or all of a key identification system, a key duplication system, an automobile key identification system, and/or an RFID key fob duplication system. Unique capabilities of the systems include the ability to verify that an existing automobile key matches data input by the user pertaining to the associated automobile. Further, the systems reduce frustration, error, and waste by programming a duplicate blank RFID key fob in a fully automated manner within the housing of the machine. To facilitate this process, blank RFID key fobs may be stored inside of the housing within RFID key fob containers that are readily stacked and dispensed.

MOBILE DEVICE, A SYSTEM, AND A METHOD FOR HANDLING OBJECTS PROVIDED WITH RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFIERS
20230050026 · 2023-02-16 ·

A mobile device for handling objects includes a radio frequency identifier reader for receiving radiation emitted by object-specific radio frequency identifiers attached to the objects and radiation emitted by fixed radio frequency identifiers. The mobile device includes a processing system that computes a speed estimate for the mobile device based on a distance between two fixed radio frequency identifiers and a time-difference between receptions of radiation from these fixed radio frequency identifiers. The processing system determines, based on radiation received from each object-specific radio frequency identifier, a movement indicator indicative of movement of the mobile device with respect to the corresponding object. When the speed estimate exceeds a threshold, the processing system classifies objects which are moving in accordance with the movement indicator to be objects non-belonging to a load of the mobile device. The mobile device can be for example a forklift.

SYSTEM FOR MANAGING PRODUCT STOCKS WHICH IS SUITABLE FOR HOUSEHOLD USE

The system (1) comprises a plurality of products stored in dedicated product containers (RC), a computer server (S RC) hosting a product stock management software module (GSP, GS) and connected to an extended data communication network (IP), a weighing device (BC) interconnected with the computer server (S-RC) through a wireless data communication link (RWF, L5) and through the extended data communication network, and a user computer device (UD) connected to the computer server and hosting a software application (APPLI), the product containers each comprising an identification tag storing an identification number, and the weighing device comprising an identification reader module. According to the invention, the reader module is a radio-identification reader module and the tag is a radio-identification tag having a location distance from a placement surface of the container which is at most equal to a radio detection height of the reader module from a weighing surface (SP) of the weighing device, and the weighing device comprises an accelerometer and means arranged so as ensure that the weighing device is put on standby, or woken up, on the basis of movement information supplied by the accelerometer.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR AUTHENTICATING PASSIVE RFID TAG
20230051005 · 2023-02-16 ·

A method for authenticating a passive RFID tag includes acquiring a tag fingerprint of a first tag as a first tag fingerprint, the first tag being the genuine tag; acquiring a tag fingerprint of a second tag as a second tag fingerprint, the second tag being the tag to be authenticated; comparing the first tag fingerprint with the second tag fingerprint: if the first tag fingerprint is consistent with the second tag fingerprint, determining that the second tag is a genuine tag, otherwise determining the second tag is a forged tag. The tag fingerprint is the persistence time enabling the passive RFID tag to operate normally during discharge after fully charging. The beneficial effects include being high in robustness to the change of environment and high in authentication accuracy and capable of being directly deployed on an existing commercial RFID device without modifying hardware of the tag and reader.

A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRACING MEMBERS OF AN ANIMAL POPULATION

A system for tracing members of an animal population throughout a process including moving at least some of the members between a plurality of physically separate locations, the system comprising: a plurality of identification devices, each being attached to, and uniquely identifying, a respective member of the members; a plurality of identification device readers, each capable of being located at a respective physically separate location of the physically separate locations, and each capable of reading the identification devices to uniquely identify the respective member; a data repository comprising one or more records, each of the records (i) being associated with a respective member of the members, and (ii) including a unique animal identifier associated with the identification device attached to the respective member of the members; and a processing circuitry configured to perform a process for storing location change records indicative of location changes of the members during the process.

CARD FOR SECURE PARKING VALIDATION

In some implementations, a card may communicate with an exchange terminal to complete the first exchange associated with an entity, wherein the first exchange is associated with the entity providing a validation of a second exchange associated with a charge for parking a vehicle. The card may receive, from the exchange terminal, an indication of the validation code based on communicating with the exchange terminal to complete the first exchange, wherein the validation code indicates the validation of the second exchange. The card may store the validation code and a time indicator associated with receiving the indication of the validation code. The card may transmit, to an exit terminal, an indication of the validation code and the time indicator to cause an amount associated with the second exchange to be at least partially reduced, wherein the exit terminal is associated with completing exchanges for vehicles parked in the location.

Multizone equipment tracking system and method
11580345 · 2023-02-14 · ·

A multizone equipment tracking solution includes radio frequency identification (RFID) tags affixed to items of inventoried equipment; a plurality of RFID readers deployed in a plurality of different zones, including a transit zone and a storage zone, wherein an RFID reader in a transit zone comprises a mobile reader and a wireless signal strength measurement component; and a monitoring node. The RFID readers read tag codes from items that are in the different zones, and report the information to the monitoring node, permitting a real-time, end-to-end view of inventoried equipment across different zones. The RFID reader in the transit zone also measures a wireless signal strength (e.g., cellular) along a transit route and reports the measurements, thereby reducing a need for dedicated monitoring efforts by the wireless network operator. Reported data, may be advantageously mined to provide value for inventory management, while also providing cost savings for wireless network management.
