Inter-application data interchange via a group-based communication system that triggers user intervention
11863602 · 2024-01-02 · ·

A communication platform can leverage a network-based computing system to enable applications to exchange data with one or more applications via channels. In some examples, a first application may post messages to the channel and a second application may listen to the posted messages to identify an event based on one or more of the messages. Responsive to detecting an event, the second application may notify a user, create a new channel, add a user to a channel, or the like, and/or the second application may take an action to remediate an issue. The first application and the second application and users added to the channel may be associated with a same or different organizations.

Location determination based on historical service data

A network system receives a service request sent from a computing device of a user. The service request identifies a service to be provided by a provider and a service request location. In response to receiving the service request, the network system identifies a plurality of candidate locations. The network system selects the location from a plurality of candidate locations according to predetermined criteria including a frequency measurement of each candidate location. The network system replaces the service request location with the selected location. The network system sends the selected location to the computing device. Responsive to receiving an acceptance of the selected location from the computing device, the network system generates navigation instructions for the provider from a current location of the provider to the selected location.

An information processing method to be carried out by a terminal that is configured to communicate with an electronic device, is provided. The electronic device is configured to manage information related to a vehicle that is provided with a display device for displaying an advertisement, and the information processing method may include: receiving vehicle usage fee information related to a vehicle usage fee for the vehicle from the electronic device through a communication interface of the terminal, the vehicle usage fee for the vehicle being based on advertisement information related to the advertisement displayed on the display device of the vehicle and information related to an advertisement display situation where the advertisement is displayed on the display device; and displaying a first display that is based on the vehicle usage fee information, in a display area of the terminal.

System and method for software architecture for leader vehicle capabilities for an on-demand autonomy (ODA) service

Systems and methods for an On-Demand Autonomy (ODA) service. The system includes a selection module of a leader vehicle (Lv) connected to an ODA server to determine whether to confirm a request for an on-demand autonomy (ODA) service which has been broadcast wherein the ODA service request includes control of a follower vehicle (Fv) to a requested location by creating a virtual link between the Lv and the Fv to configure a vehicle platoon to enable transport of the Fv by the Lv wherein the vehicle platoon is a linking of the Lv to the Fv via the virtual link to enable the Lv to assume the control of the Fv to the requested location.

Systems and methods are disclosed for providing a subscription travel service. The systems and methods include operations for determining a geographical location of a user of a subscription-based travel service; searching a list of travel services that are available for the user to consume on a travel date to identify candidate travel services; computing a likelihood of consumption value for the user based on transportation criteria associated with arriving at a given travel service in the list of travel services from the geographical location of the user; determining that the likelihood of consumption value for the user is less than a threshold; increasing a travel cost value associated with the given travel service in response to determining that the likelihood of consumption value is less than the threshold; and generating, for display in a graphical user interface to the user, an interactive visual representation of the given travel service.

Customer signaling location beacon
11861755 · 2024-01-02 · ·

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for providing a signaling location beacon are provided. Specifically, a physical location for transferring a delivery from a delivery person to a customer can be determined. Also, a physical beacon associated with the physical location can be identified. Further, an interaction between the physical beacon and the delivery person can be detected. For example, the interaction can occur based on the physical beacon and the delivery person being in physical proximity to each other. As follows, in response to the interaction, transmission of a sensory signal to the delivery person can be facilitated to provide perceivable direction information associated with the physical location to the delivery person.
