Image processing system and method
Initial low-quality images of a progressively-displayed high-definition image are masked with corresponding progressively-revealing mask filters or masking algorithms to realistically obscure such low quality and therefore to provide a realistically appearing progressive presentation of the high-definition image.
Visualization and interaction of 3D models via remotely rendered video stream system and method
The disclosure is directed to systems and methods for local rendering of 3D models which are then accessed by remote computers. The advantage of the system is that extensive hardware needed for rendering complex 3D models is centralized and can be accessed by smaller remote computers without and special hardware or software installation. The system also provides enhanced security as model data can be restricted to a limited number of servers instead of stored on individual computers.
IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, PROGRAM, AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
A processing server includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire information inputted, an arithmetic processing unit configured to execute arithmetic processing based on the information inputted, and a result output unit configured to output a result of the arithmetic processing that the arithmetic processing unit has executed; and one or more rendering servers including a rendering unit configured to generate information related to an image based on the result of the arithmetic processing, the information generated when the arithmetic processing has been executed, and an image information output unit configured to acquire from the rendering unit the information related to the image that the rendering unit has generated, so as to output to a user terminal the information related to the image.
Zoom-adaptive data granularity to achieve a flexible high-performance interface for a geospatial mapping system
A geospatial mapping system can access a geospatial layer data set for a first geographic area defined by a first presentation level, and provide the geospatial layer data set for the first geographic area to a client device to present a visual rendering of the first geographic area. The geospatial mapping system can receive a request to utilize an advanced feature set on a subset of geospatial artifacts located within the first geographic area, and promote, to the geospatial layer data set, an additional geospatial artifact data set for the subset of geospatial artifacts, yielding an updated geospatial layer data set for the first geographic area. The geospatial mapping system can provide the updated geospatial layer data set to the client device to provide the advanced feature set for interacting with the subset of geospatial artifacts located within the first geographic area.
COMPUTER GRAPHICS OBJECT RENDERING BASED ON PRIORITY
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to determining computer graphics objects (CGOs) to render for a device of a user in a virtual environment having a plurality of participants, each participant corresponding to a CGO. A priority value of each CGO corresponding to each participant can be determined. A CGO priority list can be generated based on the determined priority values, wherein the CGO priority list ranks the CGOs based on the priority values. A rendering list of CGOs can be generated, wherein the rendering list includes a subset of the CGOs of the CGO priority list based on applied rendering processing constraints. The CGOs of the rendering list can then be rendered.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes: a communication interface; a user interface; and a processor configured to control the electronic apparatus to: receive a content and metadata corresponding to the content from a server through the communication interface; obtain an input lag allowance time corresponding to the content based on any one or any combination of image information corresponding to the content, the metadata, or a pattern of a user command received through the user interface; identify at least one image processing method, among a plurality of image processing methods, based on the input lag allowance time; and perform image processing on the content based on the at least one image processing method.
SYSTEM, DEVICES AND/OR PROCESSES FOR PREDICTIVE GRAPHICS PROCESSING
Disclosed subject matter relates generally to predictive graphics processing for interactive content.
Systems and Methods for Content Sharing Between Artificial-Reality Devices
In one embodiment, a method includes, by an operating system of a first artificial-reality device, receiving a notification that virtual objects are shared with the first artificial-reality device by a second artificial-reality device, where the virtual objects are shared by being placed inside a sender-side shared space anchored to a physical object. The method further includes the first artificial-reality device accessing descriptors of a physical object and a spatial-relationship definition between the physical object and a receiver-side shared space, detecting physical objects based on the descriptors, determining pose of the receiver-side shared space, detecting physical constraints within the receiver-side shares space, receiving display instructions for the virtual objects, and rendering the virtual objects on the first artificial-reality device in the receiver-side shared space.
PROVIDING AUGMENTED REALITY IN A WEB BROWSER
Implementations generally relate to providing augmented reality in a web browser. In one implementation, a method includes capturing images of a physical scene with a camera of a device. The method further includes determining motion of the camera using six degrees of freedom (6DoF) markerless tracking. The method further includes overlaying virtual three-dimensional (3D) content onto a depicted physical scene in the images, resulting in augmented reality (AR) images. The method further includes rendering the AR images in a browser of the device.
DEEP FEATURE GENERATIVE ADVERSARIAL NEURAL NETWORKS
A data item is identified on a device. A neural network that includes an adversarial transformation subnetwork is applied to the data item to generate a modified data item. Output indicative of the modified data item is caused to be presented on the device. The neural network further comprises an encoder and a decoder. The neural network is trained in at least two stages. At least one of the encoder and the decoder is trained in a first stage and the adversarial transformation subnetwork is trained in a second stage.
