Handle assembly for vehicular closure panels having integrated antenna and force sensor configuration
A vehicular exterior component, such as a handle assembly for a closure of a vehicle, includes a force-based sensor disposed behind an outer wall and responsive to forces applied thereto. The vehicular exterior component may include a force-sensitive printed circuit board (PCB) configured to detect touch forces at either of an inner surface or an outer surface of the outer wall of the vehicular exterior component and to distinguish between those different touch forces in order to provide corresponding unlock or lock signals. A short-range RADAR antenna may be disposed within the vehicular exterior component and adjacent to the outer wall. A passive keyless entry (PKE) antenna may also disposed within the vehicular exterior component and adjacent to the outer wall.
Lockable Food Delivery Box Apparatus
A lockable food delivery box apparatus for preventing food tampering and contamination includes an insulated box defining a storage cavity configured to store food items for delivery. A box lid is selectively engageable with an open side of the insulated box. An electronic lock is coupled to the insulated box and is in operational communication with the box lid to secure and alternatively free the box lid. The electronic lock has a transceiver configured to be in operational communication with a smartphone. A heating coil is coupled to the insulated box to raise the temperature within the storage cavity. A cooling system is coupled to the insulated box to lower the temperature within the storage cavity. A power supply is coupled within the insulated box and is in operational communication with the heating coil, the cooling system, and the electronic lock.
Electronic locking systems, methods, and apparatus
Electronic locking devices, systems, and methods may require the utilization of an electronic key generated by an electronic key generation device. The electronic key may be generated using a data payload received from a server and/or an administrative device. The administrative device is enabled to remotely manage the locking device and locking system via, for example, a software application running on the administrative device and/or a website.
METHOD FOR DETERMINING AND/OR VERIFYING A STATUS OF A DOOR SYSTEM, METHOD FOR GENERATING A MODEL, STATUS DETERMINATION DEVICE, SYSTEM, COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A method for determining and/or verifying a status of a door system, wherein the door system has at least one first subsystem and one second subsystem, includes the following steps determining at least one item of measurement information relating to the door system is determined in a measuring step, and determining and/or verifying the status of the door system using a model and using the at least one determined item of measurement information in a status determination step, wherein the model has a first model block for the first subsystem and a second model block for the second subsystem.
PROOF OF AUTHORITY BASED ACCESS TO DEVICES ON A NETWORK WITH LOCAL TOKEN ACQUISITION
An access control method and system that uses a physical proximity interface on a token dispenser device to obtain tokens on a blockchain which are used for subsequent access to a local network. The tokens are authenticated on the local network using proof of authority authentication. A client device can present a token to the local network from anywhere in the world in order to access at least one device on the local network. In an example, the method includes receiving, from the physical proximity interface of the token dispenser device, a token on a blockchain layer; presenting, to a node of the local network, the token; and receiving, from the node, successful authentication of the token by way of proof of authority authentication. The method can include, after the successful authentication of the token, authorizing the client device to access a device on the local network.
Interlock system and parts thereof
An interlock system comprising: a first lock including a first lock memory configured to store one or more virtual keys; and a first key including a first key memory configured to store one or more virtual keys, wherein the first lock is configured to be actuated between a first condition and a second condition, when a first virtual key stored in the first key memory is transferred to the first lock memory, by engagement of the first key and first lock, and movement of the first key with respect to the first lock.
Method and system for preventing a physical layer relay attack
There is provided a method and a system for authorizing a user device to send a request to a vehicle in order to prevent a physical layer relay attack. The system comprises a vehicle comprising an acoustic transducer and an RF transceiver and a user device comprising an acoustic transducer and an RF transceiver. The method relates to a signaling scheme using a combination of acoustic and RF signals for preventing a successful physical layer relay attack.
Smart lock and method for automatically locking smart lock
The present disclosure provides a smart door lock and a method for controlling the smart door lock. The method may be implemented on a computing apparatus including a processor and a storage device. The method may include obtaining user information and determining whether the user information passes a verification. The method may further include in response to a determination that the user information passes the verification, controlling the smart door lock to perform an unlock operation. The method may further include determining whether the door on which the smart door lock is installed has a preset action within a preset time period and in response to a determination that the door has the preset action within the preset time period, controlling at least one component of the smart door lock to perform at least one operation.
Lock system including automation notification and surveillance integration
The present disclosure provides a lock system including automated notification and surveillance integration. In the lock system of the present disclosure, when any of the locks included in the lock system are locked or unlocked, a notification or communication signal is sent to at least one other device. The at least one other device may be a receiver, smart phone, smart watch, laptop, desktop, and/or an Internet connected or Internet of Things (IoT) device. In one aspect, the at least one other device is an image capturing device that captures one or more images of the lock that has been locked or unlocked and the surrounding area the lock is disposed in responsive to the notification or communication signal sent. The lock system of the present disclosure is configured for use with electronic locks, mechanical locks, and/or hybrid electronic-mechanical locks.
Product identification systems and methods
A method for identifying a product removed from a cabinet includes detecting visual characteristics of the product removed from the cabinet by a camera within the cabinet. The method may include detecting an identifier on the product removed from the cabinet by an identifier sensor, and comparing the visual characteristics and the identifier to a database of product information. The product removed from the cabinet may be identified based on the comparison of the visual characteristics and the identifier to the database of product information.
