MULTI-CHANNEL SIGNALING FOR A BARRIER OPERATOR SYSTEM
A wireless transmitter for controlling a barrier operator includes at least one processor, an actuator, and a memory storing instructions. When executed by the at least one processor, the instructions cause the at least one processor to transmit a first data packet configured to initiate actuation of the barrier operator on a first channel and transmit the first data packet on a second channel. The transmission on the first channel may be performed in response to a first actuation of the actuator and the transmission on the second channel may be performed in response to a second actuation of the actuator. Alternatively, both transmissions may be performed in response to a single actuation of the actuator but switching from the first channel to the second channel may be performed in response to a passive input signal.

SYSTEM TO EVALUATE AND MANAGE PEOPLE ENTERING A BUILDING BASED ON INFECTION RISK DATA, ENVIRONMENTAL DATA, AND BUILDING ENTRANT HEALTH DATA
A method for providing access into a building is shown. The method includes receiving an indication that a potential building occupant is requesting access into the building. The method includes providing input data into a probabilistic model, the input data comprising current health data of the potential building occupant obtained in response to receiving the indication. The method includes analyzing, via the probabilistic model, relationships between a plurality of weighted variables within the probabilistic model to determine an entry decision for the potential building occupant, wherein each of the plurality of weighted variables are representative of subsets of the input data. The method includes, in response to the entry decision permitting the building occupant to enter the building, providing a control signal to a security system to permit access to the building for the building occupant.
WIRELESS, TAG-BASED MANAGEMENT OF EQUIPMENT-OPERATOR INTERACTIONS
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, storing an operator certification value at a first mobile device. A first wireless signal is obtained via a first wireless technology from a reference terminal at a fixed location and a position of the first mobile device is determined according to the first wireless signal and the fixed location. A physical relationship is determined between the first mobile device and a second device attached to equipment and configured with an equipment certification requirement. Responsive to the physical relationship satisfying a threshold value, a comparison of the certification value of the operator and the equipment certification requirement is initiated. An operator-equipment association is generated responsive to a match between the certification value of the operator and the equipment certification requirement, wherein the operator-equipment association facilitates operator access to an operable feature of the equipment. Other embodiments are disclosed.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus according to the present invention includes: an acquisition unit that acquires biometric information on a user in a procedure area where the user is able to select a first scheme involving use of biometric authentication in a procedure or a second scheme not involving use of the biometric authentication in the procedure; a matching unit that matches the biometric information with registered biometric information on a registrant allowed to use the first scheme and determines whether or not the user is the registrant; and a guidance unit that, when it is determined by the matching unit that the user is the registrant, guides the user for a procedure place corresponding to the first scheme and, when it is determined that the user is not the registrant, generates guidance information about a way to a procedure place corresponding to the second scheme.
Controlling locations shared among multiple operators
A method includes controlling a shared location. Item identifiers are read from a set of items (pertaining to one or more operators sharing the shared location) reaching a gate of the shared location. A verification request message for the item identifiers is broadcast for receiving corresponding verification response messages from central computing systems of the operators. A passage of the items through the gate is controlled according to the verification response messages. A computer program and a computer program product for performing the method are also proposed. Moreover, a system for implementing the method is proposed.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
