The storage cassette is detachably mounted to the money handling apparatus, and the storage cassette to store money for a replenishment process. The plurality of storage units store money. The processing circuitry is configured to receive a designation of a processing time of the replenishment process, and control the replenishment process based on the processing time so that a storage unit of the plurality of storage units is replenished with money fed out from the storage cassette.

A coin holding device includes a mechanism for treating coins fed in a plurality of feeding ports thereby supplying an article. The coin holding device capable of holding the fed coins, comprises a first opening in which some coins are fed, a second opening in which other coins are fed, a first path part through which coins fed in the first opening pass, a second path part through which coins fed in the second opening pass, a first holding unit capable of holding coins which pass through the first path part and a second holding unit capable of holding coins which pass through the path part, wherein the first path part and the second path port are arranged so as to face each other.

A coin processing device includes: a feed belt that normally rotates in contact with the upper side of a coin to convey the coin to a conveyance passage extending from an inlet-side passage portion to an outlet-side passage portion; a conveyance motor that normally rotates the feed belt during the normal rotation; a detection unit that detects the coin passing through a position determined in advance in the conveyance passage; and a control unit that switches the conveyance motor from a first rotation state where the conveyance motor normally rotates at a first rotation speed to a second rotation state where the conveyance motor normally rotates at a second rotation speed slower than the first rotation speed, in response to detection of the coin by the detection unit, and then rotates the conveyance motor.

A token sorting apparatus is arranged to supplement a game using gaming tokens, the game having a plurality of stages. The sorting apparatus includes an entry aperture arranged to accept gaming tokens; a sorting mechanism arranged to sort gaming tokens according to a predetermined characteristic of the gaming tokens; a displacement member arranged to urge gaming tokens accepted by the entry aperture to the sorting mechanism; a camera arranged to obtain an image of the sorting mechanism and the displacement member; a display member in digital communication with the camera, the display member arranged to display the image to a user; and a signaling member arranged to provide a signal to the user, the signal being arranged to indicate a stage of the game or a status of the game.

A deposit and withdrawal apparatus that includes a deposit port through which a coin is deposited, a withdrawal port through which the coin is withdrawn, and a first unit that is capable of storing the coin includes a second unit, a judgement unit, and a distribution unit. The second unit is different from the first unit and is capable of storing the coin. The judgement unit judges the coin deposited from the deposit port. The distribution unit distributes the deposited coin to the first unit or the second unit on the basis of a judgement result obtained by the judgement unit. The distribution unit is able to distribute the coin deposited into the first unit or the second unit.

A deposit and withdrawal apparatus that includes a deposit port through which a coin is deposited, a withdrawal port through which the coin is withdrawn, and a first unit that is capable of storing the coin includes a second unit, a judgement unit, and a distribution unit. The second unit is different from the first unit and is capable of storing the coin. The judgement unit judges the coin deposited from the deposit port. The distribution unit distributes the deposited coin to the first unit or the second unit on the basis of a judgement result obtained by the judgement unit. The distribution unit is able to distribute the coin deposited into the first unit or the second unit.

A coin handling apparatus includes: a first transport path configured to transport coins; a feeding unit configured to feed out the coins one by one to the first transport path; a recognition unit configured to recognize the coins fed out to the first transport path by the feeding unit; a storage unit arranged beneath the recognition unit, the storage unit being configured to receive the coins recognized by the recognition unit from the first transport path, and store the coins therein; and a cassette detachably mounted to the coin handling apparatus and arranged beneath the recognition unit and above the storage unit, the cassette being configured to receive the coins from the first transport path and store the coins therein.
