Automatic treat dispenser
A rotatable container includes a projection that protrudes into the container and is aligned with an opening at a first end of the container. The projection defines a concave surface with a ramp that guides treats through the opening when oriented vertically. The container may be cylindrical and sit on a base defining a cylindrical seat. A second end of the container engages a rotator on the base that is driven by a motor. A front wall of the container may define an opening that aligns with the opening of the container when the ramp is oriented vertically. A sensor may sense a position of the projection and invoke pausing of rotation by the motor.
Kiosk for evaluating and purchasing used electronic devices
Various embodiments of kiosks for purchasing mobile phones and other mobile electronic devices from users are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the kiosks include an apparatus to turn a mobile phone over on an inspection surface. This apparatus can enable the kiosk to visually inspect both the front and back sides of the mobile device on the inspection surface with an inspection system (e.g., imaging devices, lighting devices, etc.) positioned above the inspection surface, and can eliminate the need to position a second inspection system below a transparent inspection surface to visually inspect, e.g., the back side of the mobile device through the transparent inspection surface. In some embodiments, the kiosk also includes a wireless mobile phone charging device that can be used for, e.g., phone charging and identification.
MULTI-MODAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS USING VENDING KIOSKS AND AUTONOMOUS DELIVERY VEHICLES
Vehicles, components, and methods are disclosed for distributing hot or cold food items from a vending kiosk, a locker system, or a self-propelled delivery vehicle. The vending kiosk may have multiple doors, at least one of which is unlocked responsive to confirming a purchase transaction or authenticating the presence of a person or device associated with the purchase transaction. The multiple doors provide access to respective compartments that may be selectively heated and refrigerated. Such temperature changes may be based upon a temperature control schedule. The locker system may include one or more configurable compartments that may be accessible via a set of set of doors that can be selectively coupled into larger doors. The self-propelled delivery vehicle may have a plurality of thermally insulated compartments that may be used to carry multiple items at different temperatures.

Vending machine adjustable depth retainer
A vending machine is provided with an internal product holding assembly where product to be vended is held or stacked within each of a plurality of product holding compartments formed by a plurality of spaced apart stacking walls. Compartment depth is variable, so as to dispense varying length products, by a movable rear wall movably mounted to one side of a stacking wall so as to be incrementally adjustable within the compartment between a plurality of selected fore and aft positions. The stacking walls have a hollow interior housing an adjusting mechanism for incrementally moving the depth controlling rear wall, with the adjusting mechanism being operable from the front of the product holding assembly and retainable at a selected position.
SYSTEM FOR INTERACTIVE MARKETING IN RECONFIGURABLE VENDOR SPACE
A system of the present invention includes a shared commercial region for use by a plurality of tenant vendors, providing both a virtual and tangible experience regarding products of the tenant vendors. The system can also include a common area of the shared commercial region, populated by interaction terminals and goods linked to product information pages available through the interaction terminals or mobile devices. Through various embodiments, tenant vendors may be efficiently represented within a shared commercial region in high-cost/rent locations and geographically diverse venues, and in locations not normally suited for a small vendor to establish a sales presence. Also provided are systems for completing purchases on an immediate or deferred basis, and systems to monitor and analyze customer traffic and behaviors.
Storage apparatus with support structures
A storage apparatus is provided. The storage apparatus defines a storage cavity having an opening at the upper surface of the storage apparatus with a substantially planar flange extending outwardly from the opening of the storage cavity and defines a plurality of support structures, each support structure (a) having an opening at the upper surface of the storage apparatus and (b) adapted to support the storage apparatus.
