Orders may be customized through a user interface, and be scheduled for preparation to be completed coincidental with an expected approximate retrieval time. In some examples, wireless capability detects customer arrival, which is used as a trigger to begin preparing an earlier-submitted order. Food safety may be improved by correlating food item chubs with customer profiles, to provide alert recipient information, if needed.
