Luggage case and case body structure thereof

A case body structure of a luggage case includes a case top member, a case bottom member and a sidewall member that are independent components. Each of the case top member and the case bottom member is a hard structure. The sidewall member includes a wall plate and a cover plate. The wall plate includes a connecting section, two installation sections, and an installation breach defined and formed by the two installation sections. The cover plate is disposed correspondingly to the installation breach. The cover plate and the wall plate define a hollow cavity. The case top member and the case bottom member are respectively disposed at two ends of the sidewall member to enclose the hollow cavity. The cover plate selectively opens relative to the wall plate to allow an object to be placed into or taken out of the hollow cavity.

Suitcase comprising a lid that overlaps a side wall

In a suitcase including a suitcase body that is delimited by a back wall and by side walls that adjoin the back wall and are arranged on two opposing narrow and long sides of the suitcase body in each case, a folding lid is formed on at least one side of the suitcase body. The lid can be connected to the suitcase body by a zip fastener. One side wall of the suitcase body includes a recess in which an overlapping segment of the lid engages such that the overlapping segment forms the side wall of the suitcase body at least in part. The suitcase body (2) may include a limiting element in the recess, by which element luggage contents are prevented from falling out of the suitcase.

The frame may include upper and lower bodies (140, 142, 144, 146, 302, 304) that are joined together by elongated structural members (148, 150, 306), such as pultrusions or closed wire loops. The upper bodies may substantially define the top side of the luggage piece, and the lower bodies may substantially define the bottom side of the luggage piece. The upper and lower bodies may be molded, hard bodies.

The method involves forming the bottom tray and connecting the wall to the bottom tray. The bottom tray is made from a unitary construction having wheel wells shaped to receive a spinner wheel.

Luggage frame

A piece of luggage (100, 298) may include front, rear, top, bottom, right, and left sides or faces (102, 104, 106, 108, 110, 112) that define an enclosed space. The enclosed space may be divided into one or more compartments. The luggage piece may further include at least one zipper (124) to access the enclosed space. The at least one zipper may include a zipper track (132), at least one zipper slider (134), and at least one zipper tab (136). The luggage piece may further include a frame (138, 300) that generally defines the shape of the luggage piece. The frame may include upper and lower bodies (140, 142, 144, 146, 302, 304) that are joined together by elongated structural members (148, 150, 306), such as pultrusions or closed wire loops. The upper bodies may substantially define the top side of the luggage piece, and the lower bodies may substantially define the bottom side of the luggage piece. The upper and lower bodies may be molded, hard bodies.

Luggage article frame structure

A luggage article 100 is provided. The luggage article 100 may include a reinforcing board 202, and a closed loop frame 206. The reinforcing board 206 may include a central portion 220 and first and second side portions 224, 226 on opposing lateral sides of the central portion 220. The central portion may extend over a rear side 120 of the luggage article 100. The first and second side portions 224, 226 may extend over at least part of the opposing left 126 and right 128 sides of the luggage case 100. The closed loop frame 206 may match and aligned with the distal edge 250 of the first side portion 224 or the second side portion 226 of the reinforcing board 220. The top section 226 of the closed loop frame may also curve around the top edges (142, 144) of the luggage case 100 to extend at least partially over the top side 122 to match and align with the inwardly curved side edge 282 of the top portion 228.

Concealed Type Expandable Luggage

The present disclosure provides concealed type expandable luggage. The concealed type expandable luggage comprises: a lower shell, an upper shell, and an expanded part, the expanded part including a first expanded portion and a second expanded portion, wherein one end of the first expanded portion is connected to the upper shell, one end of the second expanded portion is connected to the lower shell, and the other end of the first expanded portion is connectable to the other end of the second expanded portion to increase an accommodation space of the concealed type expandable luggage; and wherein the lower shell is directly connectable to the upper shell, such that the expanded part is accommodated and concealed in the accommodation space formed by fitting of the lower shell and the upper shell. The concealed type expandable luggage provided by the present disclosure may conceal the expanded part when an expanded space is not needed, which may not only make a structure of the concealed type expandable luggage more compact, but also may make the connection part in the middle of the concealed type expandable luggage more durable.

The bottom tray includes a fastener on an inside of the bottom tray to fasten the flaps to the bottom tray, integrated wheel wells, and slots to receive the flaps extending from the wall and allow the flaps to pass from an outside of the bottom tray to the inside of the bottom tray to attach the wall to the bottom tray.
