A weight is adapted to fit within the rack, wherein the weight is supported by a last feminine hygiene product to be dispensed from the rack, the weight including an indicator. A housing includes a door, wherein the door has a window through which the indicator appears in the absence the plurality of feminine hygiene products. A product dispensing module includes a suction cup, a delivery tray, and a trigger operatively connected to the suction cup and to the delivery tray, wherein actuation of the trigger moves the suction cup to a holding position and positions the delivery tray to a product delivery position. The trigger slides freely when the suction cup is in the holding position to prevent the delivery tray from dispensing one of the feminine hygiene products.

A system and method for managing a request for roadside assistance includes receiving an electronic roadside assistance request made from a driver device. A set of available provider entities matching parameters of the request are determined. An electronic roadside assistance solicitation is transmitted to each of the available providers. Electronic roadside assistance offers made by a subset of the provider entities are received, each offer defining a respective offer price and an estimated time of arrival. The received offers are transmitted to the driver device. A response from the driver device indicating an acceptance one of the offers is further received. Electronic payment corresponding to the offer price is also received. A notification to an operator device associated to the provider entity of the accepted offer is further transmitted, the notification indicating the parameters of the roadside assistance request. The system and method are also applicable transportation assistance.

A self-serve product dispenser system includes a user-interactable tiered menu that is dynamically modifiable in realtime to display available products at current price. The menu may be displayed proximate to the product dispenser, or displayed remotely, e.g., on a user's smart device. Preferably the menu is displayed on a touch screen to facilitate user touch-interaction with images of available products, which interaction advances to a new menu tier with more detailed product information. The user can touch-select payment mode and can make secure payment in a variety of ways, including remotely. Upon confirmed payment, products are dispensed directly from the product dispenser, and associated inventory is debited by the quantity of dispensed products. However, the product dispenser may act as a virtual locker should the user elect to select and pay for products but defer secure pick-up from the dispenser.

Each virtual outfit includes at least one electronic fashion item model. Each virtual outfit is compiled based on A) a selected event, B) the particular user's demographic data, and C) style genres.

A method and system to access vending machines via a touch-free user interface using a personal electronic device (PED) are described. For each vending session, a unique dynamic tag is generated and presented on a vending machine to be read via a camera. The tag is forwarded by the PED to a remote servicer, which accesses a remote database to determine real-time inventory of the vending machine. This inventory list is transmitted back to the PED for display to a user. The user selects a product from inventory using her PED. This selection is sent to the server, which then transmits instructions to the vending machine to dispense the selected product. The method is free of a requirement for the user to download an app. Security and payment are assured by the use of a unique dynamic tag for each vending session, displayed on or by the vending machine.
