NFC ENABLED CARD FOR CONSUMER ACCESSIBILITY
20220327517 · 2022-10-13 ·

A contactless card useful for adjusting the operation, configuration, and/or performance of a secondary device is described. The contactless card is equipped with a communication interface which allows the contactless card to transmit information to the secondary device using NFC signals. The contactless card stores accommodation information related to a physical accommodation desired by the user and transmits that information in the form of an accommodation message to the secondary device after being placed in a NFC field generated by the secondary device. In some embodiments, the contactless card requests an authentication certificate in order to determine a degree of trust prior to sending an accommodation message. In some embodiments, the contactless card may adjust what accommodation information is included in the accommodation message based on the authentication certificate received from the secondary device.

Apparatus for aligning notes of value

An apparatus for aligning at least one note of value along a transport path including at least one transport element, at least one first drive unit, first and second rotatably mounted deflecting elements, and a second drive unit. The transport element includes an endless drive belt. The first drive unit drives the transport element in a first direction of rotation which moves the note of value along the transport path in a transport direction. The transport element is deflected over the deflecting elements. The second drive unit displaces at least one of the first and second deflecting elements along its axis of rotation so that by displacing the one of the first and second deflecting elements the note of value contacting the at least one transport element is moved obliquely to the transport direction.

BANKNOTE DEPOSIT-WITHDRAWAL SYSTEM AND ARCHITECTURE

A banknote deposit-withdrawal system (300) for assisting in a financial transaction includes an opening (415) to receive banknotes in an orientation where the short edge of the banknotes is the leading-edge. A transportation mechanism (303) transports received banknotes to a separation area in the short edge leading-edge orientation. A separator mechanism (22014) separates banknotes from bulk in the separation area and transports banknotes serially to a sensing unit (1402) in a long edge leading-edge orientation. The sensing unit validates the authenticity of inserted banknotes in the long edge leading-edge orientation. After authentication, if rejected, banknotes are returned to the user in short edge leading-edge orientation. After authentication banknotes deemed genuine are sent to storage units (1406) in the long edge leading-edge orientation. The opening (415) is operated in a single banknote insertion mode, a bulk banknote insertion mode, a rejection of unacceptable banknote mode, and a banknote dispense mode.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INTEGRATED MULTIPLE SOURCE PLAYER CASH ACCESS
20230073906 · 2023-03-09 ·

The present invention relates to a system and method for integrating player tracking and cash access in a casino or other gaming environment. One aspect of the invention relates to integrating player tracking and cash access transactions by allowing a player to utilize a player tracking card for each financial transaction conducted in a gaming environment, wherein financial account information for the player, such as bank or credit card information, is linked to their player tracking account and card.

SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING APPLICATIONS ON AN AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE (ATM)

Described is an Automated Teller Machine (ATM), and related systems (and methods), that allows for applications (or “Apps”) to be accessed on the ATM. The system allows for a third-party application to be verified and installed on ATMs to provide users with additional services. The application may access peripherals of the ATM via an Application Programming Interface (API) provided as part of a Software Development Kit (SDK). Accordingly, the system may provide a secure mechanism for ATM providers to provide users with the benefits of accessing third-party applications. Moreover, these applications may leverage specialized ATM peripherals and provide functionality that may not otherwise be available on other types of devices.

INFORMATION SECURITY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUGMENTED REALITY CHECK GENERATION

A system for Augmented Reality (AR) document generation receives a request to generate an AR document with a particular amount directed to a particular receiver. The AR document comprises an AR check. The system generates a unique code for the AR check by converting a name of a sender, a name of the particular receiver, the amount, and a serial number associated with the AR check into a hexadecimal format. The system generates the AR check by taking the unique code as an input and writing the name of the sender, name of the particular receiver, the amount, and the serial number on the AR check extracted from the unique code. The system transmits an image of the AR check to a computing device associated with the particular receiver.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR COMPLIANCE AT TRANSACTION KIOSKS
20220335397 · 2022-10-20 ·

The systems and methods described herein provide a compliance determination for a customer at a transaction kiosk. First, the system provides, for display at a network-enabled transaction kiosk, a transaction interface for a user. The system selects or receives an approved transaction level for the user, with the transaction level including a transaction limit and one or more required datapoints for compliance of the transaction level. The system then detects a transaction attempt of the user which exceeds the transaction limit of the transaction level for the user, then determines a location of the user and a financial institution associated with the transaction kiosk. The system sends a prompt to the user at the transaction interface to provide one or more required datapoints for a higher transaction level. The system then receives the one or required datapoints, and associates the user with the higher transaction level.

11468739 · 2022-10-11 · ·

Systems, devices, and methods relate to directing cashout funds, for example in a casino environment, and in particular to providing incentives for directing cashout funds to a cashless wallet account. An instruction is received by a kiosk device, such as a gaming device, to dispense a first cashout amount. Based on the instruction, a display device of the kiosk device displays a message indicating a request to choose an option of a plurality of options. The options include a first option to receive the first cashout amount at the electronic kiosk device and a second option to receive a second cashout amount different from the first cashout amount in a cashless format. In response to receiving a selection, the respective cashout amount is dispensed in the chosen format.

ALERTING USERS OF A PHYSICAL PICKUP POINT

The method, system, and non-transitory computer-readable medium embodiments described herein are directed to alerting a user of a physical pickup point. In various embodiments, a server receives a request to be completed by one or more Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) located at a first location. The server may be in communication with the ATMs at the first location and a sensor device at the first location. The server receives an alert generated by the sensor device at the first location that the user device is proximate the first location. Next, the server identifies one or more ATMs in a state to complete the request based on a parameter associated with the request. Next, the server transmits an identifier of the at least one ATM of the one or more ATMs that will be used to complete the request to the user device and instructs the at least one ATM to complete the request.
