SAFETY CIRCUIT, DEVICE AND METHOD

A safety circuit for a Personal Alert Safety System (PASS) device includes a safety logic circuit and an alarm circuit. The safety logic circuit is communicably coupled to the PASS device. The safety logic circuit includes a timer configured to determine a time elapsed since the timer has been last reset. The safety logic circuit is configured to switch from an off state to an on state upon receiving an activation signal from the PASS device and reset the timer upon switching to the on state, generate a trigger signal in response to the timer exceeding a time threshold, and reset the timer upon receiving a reset signal from the PASS device before the timer exceeds the time threshold. The alarm circuit is communicably coupled to the safety logic circuit and configured to generate an alarm signal upon receiving the trigger signal from the safety logic circuit.

Interpreting presence signals using historical data

A method includes obtaining historical event data for events detected over a past period of time by sensors within a property, receiving a set of current event data for one or more events detected by one or more of the sensors within the property, determining that the set of current event data matches a pattern of events indicated by the historical event data, generating, based on the pattern of events, a confidence score for the set of current event data, wherein the confidence scores reflects a confidence that a person is not within the property, determining that the confidence score satisfies a confidence threshold associated with an action to be performed when a person is not within the property, and triggering execution of the action.

Wake word based on acoustic analysis

A sound-enabled detection system responds to a wakeup sound, and notifies a central server. Based on which wakeup sound is detected; the system's configuration is modified accordingly. More particularly, at least one sensor in the system has its wakeup sound reconfigured to “wake up” upon detection of a second wakeup sound when the first wakeup sound is detected.

Scene-aware custom tuned video surveillance detection system

Methods, and systems including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for training a detection model for surveillance devices using semi-supervised learning. In one aspect, the methods include receiving imaging data collected by a camera of a scene within a field of view of the camera. Annotated training data is generated from the imaging data and one or more detection models are trained using the annotated training data. Based on a set of performance parameters, an optimized detection model is selected of the one or more detection models, and the optimized detection model is provided to the camera.

ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

An energy storage system includes a fire suppression system controller, a fire extinguishing apparatus, a first sensing unit configured to detect a temperature and smoke of the energy storage system, a second sensing unit configured to detect a thermal runaway parameter, an energy storage system controller, and an energy storage unit. When the thermal runaway parameter output by the second sensing unit meets a thermal runaway condition, the energy storage system controller sends alarm information to the fire suppression system controller, to stop energy charging or energy supply of the energy storage unit. When receiving the alarm information sent by the first sensing unit and/or the energy storage system controller, the fire suppression system controller indicates the fire extinguishing apparatus to perform a fire extinguishing operation.

Generating a clinician-perceptible output responsive to a subject-monitoring device

A computer-implemented method and corresponding output generator for handling alarm events, generated by a subject/patient monitoring device, and generating clinician-perceptible outputs indicative of the alarm events. Alarm events are divided into non-actionable and actionable alarm events. Information on non-actionable alarm events is stored. Stored information on non-actionable alarm events is contained in a clinician-perceptible output generated in response to detecting an actionable alarm event.

FIRE MONITORING SYSTEM
20220292944 · 2022-09-15 ·

An image in a monitor region (14) image-captured by a monitor camera (16), input a multi-layer-type neural network of a determination device (10) to determine whether it is a fire or a non-fire state, and in the case when it is determined as a fire state, flame warning is given from a receiver (12). In a recording device of the determination device, motion images in a monitor region (14) captured by a monitor camera are recorded. When a fire decision operation is carried out in the receiver, a learning control part of the determination device reads out the recorded image at that time from the recording device, and inputs the multi-layer-type neural network as a fire image so as to subject it to learning by back propagation. In a case when a recovery operation is carried out, without any fire decision operation being carried out in the receiver, non-fire images are inputted to the multi-layer-type neural network so as to be subjected to learning.
