INTERPRETING PRESENCE SIGNALS USING HISTORICAL DATA
20220284797 · 2022-09-08 ·

A method includes obtaining historical event data for events detected over a past period of time by sensors within a property, receiving a set of current event data for one or more events detected by one or more of the sensors within the property, determining that the set of current event data matches a pattern of events indicated by the historical event data, generating, based on the pattern of events, a confidence score for the set of current event data, wherein the confidence scores reflects a confidence that a person is not within the property, determining that the confidence score satisfies a confidence threshold associated with an action to be performed when a person is not within the property, and triggering execution of the action.

Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium of controlling a security system by a computer device, comprising receiving device metadata associated with a device in communication with a wireless communication access point. The implementations further include determining that the device metadata comprises matched device metadata based on a match with one of a plurality of previously-identified device metadata in a historical database that stores the plurality of previously-identified device metadata in association with one or more of a plurality of security breach events and a corresponding one of a plurality of security breach probability values. Additionally, the implementations further include determining that the matched device metadata corresponds with a security breach probability value that exceeds a security breach probability threshold. Additionally, the implementations further include generating an alert and sending the alert to a security system device, wherein the alert is configured to initiate a security function.

Building alarm management system with integrated operating procedures

A method for automatically managing and responding to alarms in a building management system. The method includes obtaining an operating procedure comprising a set of action items to be performed in response to an alarm in the building management system. The method includes determining, for an action item of the set of action items, whether the action item is capable of being performed automatically by the building management system or whether the action item requires user involvement. The method further includes in response to determining that the action item is capable of being performed automatically, automatically performing the action item by the building management system. The method further includes in response to determining that the action item requires user involvement, providing the action item to a user device for action by a user.

MULTI-ALERT SECURITY MESSAGING SYSTEM
20220284785 · 2022-09-08 ·

A method disclosing a multi-alert security messaging system is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a computing system, an authorization request message from a user equipment (UE), the authorization request message including a set of identification credentials, wherein the identification credentials identify a user, a device, and a location. The method includes performing, by the computing system, a validation process via one or more databases, to determine if the identification credentials are valid, and meet an authorization clearance level. The method includes sending, via the computing system an in-session indication, to a host device. The method includes monitoring at the host device an alert trigger from the UE, based on one or more priority values. The method includes sending at least one alert message from the UE, associated with one or more alert triggers to the host device. The method includes alerting a second device of the one or more alert triggers received from the UE.

FIRE MITIGATION SYSTEM

A method of controlling an agricultural facility for housing a plurality of animals includes the step of regulating the environment within the agricultural facility with an automated building operational system. An automated thermal event controller is operationally coupled with the automated building operational system and generates a thermal event signal in response to a thermal event in progress, whereby the automated thermal event controller, upon receipt of the thermal event signal indicating that the thermal event is in progress, activates an alarm state. In the alarm state, the automated thermal event controller: sends an alarm signal to a system administrator; places the automated building operational system in a safety-mode condition for a first predetermined time interval; and places the automated building operational system in a normal-mode operational condition after the first predetermined time interval and if a confirmatory signal is not yet then received from the system administrator.

SECURITY SYSTEM USING TIERED ANALYSIS
20220198914 · 2022-06-23 ·

A security system including a sensor communication interface configured to communicate with a plurality of sensors, an output interface, and at least one processor in communication with the communication interface. The at least one processor is configured to: receive, via the sensor communication interface, sensor data from one or more of the plurality of sensors; determine, from a plurality of tiers, a respective tier associated with the sensor data; and determine, based on the sensor data and the respective tier, whether to change a state of the security system. The at least one processor is further configured to: in response to determining to change the state of the security system, change the state of the security system; and determine, based on the changed state of the security system, whether to generate an output via the output interface.

Systems and methods for robust man-down alarms

A system including at least one detector and a central station in two-way communication with the detector is provided. The detector can include an ambient condition sensing element, a motion sensor, control circuitry, and two-way communications hardware. The control circuitry can determine an alarm event based on a first signal received from the ambient condition sensing element and can transmit an alarm signal to the communications hardware during the alarm event. The control circuitry can also determine a man-down event based on a second signal received from the motion sensor and transmit a man-down alarm signal to the communications hardware during the man-down event. The two-way communications hardware can transmit at least one of the gas alarm signal and the man-down alarm signal to a remote location, and the two-way communications hardware can receive a status inquiry from the remote location.
