A system is provided that includes a security system that protects a secured geographic area, a geographic location outside of the secured area of an authorized human user of the security system saved in a memory of the security system, and a processor of the security system that tracks activity of the authorized user by geographic location outside of the secured area and generates an alert upon detecting that a difference between the tracked geographic location of the authorized user and saved location exceeds a threshold value.

A smart home-care lighting system includes a lighting device having a portion that is light transmittable. A fire suppression system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a detection unit for detecting a particular change due to a fire and transmitting a particular change value as a measurement value; a fire extinguishing unit for spraying a fire extinguishing substance; a control unit for receiving the measurement signal and transmitting an execution signal to the fire extinguishing unit; and a management unit enabling a user or a manager to confirm whether or not there is a fire, and for remotely, operating the fire extinguishing unit, wherein the control unit transmits a notification signal to the management unit only when a measured measurement data value exceeds a threshold value, and transmits the execution signal only when an operation command is received from the management unit, thereby enhancing convenience and safety and reducing the initial cost.

A beacon device includes a transmitter, a receiver, and a controller. The transmitter transmits a beacon signal. The receiver is capable of receiving an emergency signal from a wireless device. The controller changes the setting of the transmission of a beacon signal from the transmitter based on whether or not the receiver has received an emergency signal. The transmitter transmits a beacon signal according to the setting made by the controller.

System and method for establishing configuration parameters for a comprehensive user interface of an alarm system. An exemplary embodiment of a configuration system in accordance with the present disclosure includes a plurality of alarm system workstations, each alarm system workstation having a set of configuration parameters associated therewith, a client workstation, and a user interface broker operatively connected to each of the alarm system workstations and the client workstation, wherein the user interface broker is configured to aggregate data from the alarm system workstations and to present such aggregated data at the client workstation using the comprehensive user interface. The user interface broker is further configured to facilitate designation of one of the alarm system workstations as a main workstation, whereupon the configuration parameters of the designated main workstation are applied to the comprehensive user interface.
User interface configuration for alarm systems

An exemplary embodiment of a configuration system in accordance with the present disclosure includes a plurality of alarm system workstations, each alarm system workstation having a set of configuration parameters associated therewith, a client workstation, and a user interface broker operatively connected to each of the alarm system workstations and the client workstation, wherein the user interface broker is configured to aggregate data from the alarm system workstations and to present such aggregated data at the client workstation using the comprehensive user interface.
