SYSTEM FOR SETTING VOICE RECOGNITION RCU BY USING CLOUD SERVER, AND METHOD THEREFOR
A system for setting a voice recognition remote control unit (RCU) by using a cloud server, and a method therefor are proposed. The system is configured to include a communication interface configured to perform remote wireless communication with a device to be controlled and receive a voice signal for registering device information of the device to be controlled, and an interface setting unit configured to set IR code information corresponding to the device to be controlled in the communication interface through comparison of result data obtained by recognizing the voice signal with IR code information which is registered in the cloud server as a DB for each of device information (EDID).
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a display unit; a user input interface unit which receives a signal from a remote control device; and a control unit which receives a voice signal, and on the basis of data extracted from the voice signal, sets an external device connected to the display device as an object to be controlled by the remote control device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SMART DEVICES WITH A REMOTE CONTROLLER
The present disclosure relates to a system (100) comprises a smartboard (10) and a remote controller (20), wherein the smartboard (10) comprises a frame structure (11), wherein a plurality of transmitters (111) and receivers (112) is arranged at the frame structure (11) and configured to transmit and receive radio signals (40) within a plane defined by the frame structure (11); and wherein the smartboard (10) further comprises a controller unit (12) coupled to at least one of the one or more of the plurality of transmitters (111) and receivers (112). The remote controller (20) is configured to provide a radio control signal (30) to the frame structure (11) and the controller unit (12) is configured to control the smartboard (10) based on a detection that the at least one of the one or more of the plurality of transmitters (111) and receivers (112) has received the radio control signal (30).

Intelligent remote control
A content access device and system may allow portable remote devices to be paired with a variety of different devices, allowing remote control through a network connection. Content access devices may expose application program interfaces, allowing incoming network traffic to control operation of the device much in the same way that a local infrared remote would. Routing content commands through an external application server may also yield other benefits, such as allowing more customized selection of information and advertising content to users based on their viewing history.
Graphical user interface for programming universal remote control devices
A universal remote control (URC) is programmed to control a particular type and make of electronic consumer device using a graphical user interface. A plurality of images is displayed on the user-interface. Each image of the plurality of images is a digital photograph of an electronic consumer device or a remote control device usable to control the corresponding electronic consumer device. A user selects the digital photograph of the particular type and make of electronic consumer device or its corresponding remote control device. Codeset information associated with the selected device is transmitted to the URC such that the URC is programmed to control the selected device. If the codeset information is a codeset identifier, then it is displayed on the user interface. The user enters the codeset identifier into the URC such that the URC is programmed to control the selected device.

Device, system, and method of wirelessly controlling electronic devices and appliances
Devices, systems, and methods of wirelessly controlling appliances and electronic devices, such as ceiling fans, air conditioners, garage doors, or the like. A receive-only garage door system is wirelessly controlled by a proprietary remote control unit. A cloning unit is able to clone or duplicate the proprietary wireless signal, and to replay it or re-generate it in response to a triggering command that a user submitted via a smartphone or tablet; thereby enabling to control such garage door system via mobile electronic devices. The cloning unit utilizes recording of the wireless signal payload and carrier frequency; wireless signal analysis; image analysis of the appliance or of the remote control unit; queries to a remote server to obtain properties of the proprietary wireless signal; or other techniques of signal analysis or duplication.
