AVIONICS-FREE GLOBAL AVIATION SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES
A system for exploiting a transmitted signal from an aircraft or drone to determine parameters of the aircraft or drone's motion. The system includes at least one antenna for receiving the transmitted signal from the aircraft, and an analysis system for analyzing the transmitted signal as compared with stored characteristic anomalies associated with any of the aircraft or drone, and the at least one antenna, for confirming parameters of the aircraft or drone's motion.
System and method for plantation agriculture tasks management and data collection
The present invention provides a fruit harvesting, dilution and/or pruning system comprising: (a) a computerized system for mapping an orchard or a map of trees position and their contour in a plantation; (b) a management system for autonomous unmanned aircraft vehicle (UAV) fleet management for harvesting, diluting or pruning fruits; and a method for UAV autonomous harvesting, dilution and/or pruning of an orchard.
METHOD FOR DETERMINING A TRAJECTORY OF AN AIRCRAFT
A method for determining a trajectory of an aircraft intended to fly over a field of operation with a view to performing an action on a target at a given time is provided. The method comprises a step of computing a set of sections between a starting point, intermediate points and the target. A first type of section has a rectilinear overall shape so as to limit the time spent by the aircraft in non-secure areas. A second type of section has a sinusoidal shape so as to allow a time reserve to adjust a position of the aircraft over the target at said given time with a view to performing the action.
Drone, method for controlling flight, and recording medium storing program
A drone is provided that includes a controller, a time measurer that measures a present time, a position measurer that obtains a current position of the drone, and a storage that stores a time period for which the flight of the drone is permitted. The controller performs operations including determining a possible flight area of the drone in accordance with a difference between an end of the time period for which flight of the drone is permitted and the present time, and determining whether the drone is located within the possible flight area on the basis of the current position of the drone.
Device, system and method for harvesting and diluting using aerial drones, for orchards, plantations and green houses
The present invention provides an improved, autonomous unmanned aircraft vehicle (UAV) for harvesting or diluting fruit, and a control unit for coordinating flight and/or harvesting missions thereof, as well as a system and method for harvesting fruits.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IMPLEMENTING AN AUTONOMOUS DISTRESS TRACKING TRIGGERING FUNCTION
A system and method for implementing an autonomous distress tracking (ADT) triggering function is provided. The method comprises receiving a configuration file containing a plurality of user configurable parameters from a ground-based system, configuring an aircraft condition and monitoring function (ACMF) engine to apply trigger logic specified by the plurality of user configurable parameters to aircraft sensor and/or system data and monitoring for a plurality of distress conditions specified by the plurality of user configurable parameters; executing the configured ACMF engine to detect the occurrence of a distress condition; automatically generating a data message when a distress condition occurrence has been detected wherein the data message can include aircraft position data specified in the user configurable parameters, the aircraft sensor and/or system data on which the detection of the one or more trigger conditions was based, and the identity of the detected distress condition; and automatically sending the data message to a transmission system onboard the aircraft that is configured to transmit a search and rescue signal.
Real-time vessel navigation tracking
A vessel monitoring service obtains transponder data of a vessel operating within a navigable area. In response to obtaining the transponder data of the vessel, the vessel monitoring service evaluates the transponder data and a plurality of travel segments recorded for a plurality of vessels to identify a travel segment to which the transponder data corresponds. The vessel monitoring service updates the travel segment using the transponder data and determine whether the vessel is engaged in an unauthorized activity. If so, the vessel monitoring service provides an indication that the vessel is engaged in the unauthorized activity.
Graphical management system for interactive environment monitoring
Systems and methods for monitoring an environment using a Graphical Management System (GMS) are described. The GMS may present a vector image map of the environment for interaction by a user. The user may zoom and pan on the map to generate views of the map with various ranges of detail of the map. Video data from a plurality of video cameras may also be displayed on the map based on the user input and the level of zoom and the location viewed in the map. Further, the user may select a timeline event and sensor data associated with the event and the map may be initialized at the time and location of the event.
Marine traffic depiction for portable and installed aircraft displays
Systems and methods for detection and display of marine objects for an aircraft. One example system includes a transceiver configured to communicate with an Automatic Identification System (AIS) server and an electronic controller located within an aircraft. The electronic controller is configured to provide on a display an interface comprising a map representing a travel area. The electronic controller is configured to provide, on the map, a first graphical representation of the aircraft within the travel area. The electronic controller is configured to receive, via the transceiver, marine object data from the AIS server. The electronic controller is configured to periodically update, on the map, a second graphical representation of a first marine object within the travel area based on the marine object data.
Method and system for receiving and displaying UAV data
A handheld computing device comprises: a display; a camera operable to capture image data representing a scene, the scene comprising a UAV; an RF receiver configured to receive identification data wirelessly from the UAV as a result of the UAV having broadcast the identification data; and a controller configured to cause the received identification data and/or data based on the received identification data to be displayed on the display at the same time as a representation of the UAV.
