Rotatable language demonstration device
11417237 · 2022-08-16 ·

A rotatable language demonstration device is an apparatus that is used to teach languages easily and efficiently in a dynamic and engaging manner to accommodate different learning styles of the students. The apparatus may include at least one demonstration mechanism, a plurality of display tiles, and an elongated frame. The at least one demonstration mechanism provides multiple surfaces for the user to write on without having to erase and rewrite the already written content. The plurality of display tiles enables the quick editing of the written content on the at least one demonstration mechanism. The elongated frame supports the at least one demonstration mechanism in an upright orientation so that the writable surfaces of the at least one demonstration mechanism are easily reachable by the user. The at least one demonstration mechanism includes a plurality of turnable wheels that enables the easy rearrangement of the writable surfaces.

PRIME BOARD
20220219071 · 2022-07-14 ·

A method of using a math manipulative configured to help a user organize a breakdown of a given number into its prime factors, the method including using a board comprising columns, each column assigned to a different prime number and configured to accommodate chips, the board giving a visual picture of the prime factors of the given number to the user, and adding the chips in each of the columns by the user, wherein a number of chip added in each of the columns is the number of times the prime number corresponding to each column is a prime factor of the given number.

Language learning assembly and method of use

A language learning assembly includes a body having at least one first recess and at least one second recess arranged parallel to the at least one first recess. A plurality of blocks are color-coded by syntax category or “parts of speech” and have a plurality of words displayed on each block. The blocks are sized to fit side-by-side within one of the at least one first recess and the at least one second recess to form grammatically correct sentences. Each block can have a different word on at least two faces thereof. Some of the blocks can be configured to display words in a fixed fashion. Some of the blocks can have electronic displays configured to display words electronically.

SCREENLESS SMART LEARNING TOY AND SYSTEM

A screenless smart toy device may be a block made of natural or wooden material and may include a transparent or semi-transparent panel allowing one or more LEDs, from within the smart toy device, to be visible when illuminated. The smart toy device may read RFID values from various objects, such as tiles having objects depicted thereupon and RFID tags embedded within, and play different sounds and/or illuminate its LEDs with different colors based on the RFID tag that was read. The smart toy device may operate in a variety of modes, such as in a play/explore mode, quiz mode, definition mode, etc. The smart toy device may be configured into different modes and/or language settings by use of a mode card or separate application.

ABACUS AND MATHEMATICAL CALCULATING METHOD
20210294372 · 2021-09-23 ·

The invention is directed to an improved abacus and related calculating method. The improved abacus and method are adapted to perform mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and factoring. Additional mathematical operations are performable using described techniques. The improved abacus has a frame divided into an upper and lower section by a horizontal bar. The abacus includes a plurality of rods in which each rod contains four movable beads on the upper section of each rod and one movable bead on the lower section of each rod. The beads in the upper section have a value of two and the bead in the lower section has a value of one. Beads moved toward the bar are counted while those beads away from the bar are not counted. The improved abacus also includes a unit indicator, mathematical operational signs and positive and negative sliding indicators signs on the frame.

Multi-layer toy
10950141 · 2021-03-16 ·

A multi-layer toy having at least one outer layer adjacent a planar layer or a ball where both the outer layer and the adjacent planar layer or ball each contain related information such that, in play, the information on the outer layer is made to align with the related information on the adjacent planar layer or ball. The information can comprise depictions of objects, things, characters, animals, or words, for a matching game, or the information can comprise numbers for a counting or mental math game. The toy is preferably sized to be hand-held.
