Production and presentation of aural cloze material
A machine-delivered aural cloze exercise makes use of natural, connected speech and allows for a portion of the audio to be selected and obfuscated during playback, creating an aural cloze portion. The aural cloze portion is extended beyond its natural length an effective amount to make the exercise clear to the user. If the audio is accompanied by video, the video is extended uniformly during the aural cloze portion, and optionally, can also be obfuscated during the aural cloze portion.
SKILL JOURNEY FEATURE AND LIVE ASSESSMENT TOOL ON A LEARNING PLATFORM
A method and system comprising an adaptive learning platform having a backend component for managing 3D lessons for display on an interface of a user device. The platform facilitates in creating a Skills Journey with live assessment.

DIGITAL AUDIO SYSTEM
A portable digital audio system for a musician. The digital audio system includes an amplifier for processing an audio signal from a musical instrument or microphone electronically connected to the digital audio system and a speaker for playing a sound associated with the audio signal processed by the amplifier. The portable digital audio system also includes an audio control system providing operational control of the digital audio system and a primary housing for supporting the amplifier, the audio control system, and the speaker. Further, the digital audio system has a touch screen display in electronic communication with the audio control system and supported by the primary housing.
Utilizing a lesson package in a virtual world
A method for execution by a computing entity to utilize a lesson package in a virtual world environment includes selecting the lesson package based on a learner requirement for a learner to produce a selected lesson package. The method further includes identifying a set of active virtual world environments that each include a different instance of execution of the selected lesson package. The method further includes selecting one active virtual world environment of the set of active virtual world environments based on at least one of the learner requirement and learning assessment results for the selected lesson package to produce a selected virtual world environment. The method further includes rendering updated first descriptive asset video frames of a first descriptive asset and updated second descriptive asset video frames of a second descriptive asset within the selected virtual world environment to produce a new video stream for the learner.
A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING ASSISTANCE DURING BOTTLE-FEEDING
A system provides assistance during bottle-feeding. Video images of a subject bottle-feeding an infant are captured and displayed. Using image analysis, a reorientation of the bottle and/or infant is determined that is required in order to reach a desired bottle orientation and/or infant orientation. Reorientation instructions are provided in combination with the video images to assist the subject in reorienting the bottle and/or the infant to achieve the desired bottle orientation.
MULTI-MODAL SENSOR BASED PROCESS TRACKING AND GUIDANCE
Examples are disclosed that relate to computer-based tracking of a process performed by a user. In one example, multi-modal sensor information is received via a plurality of sensors. A world state of a real-world physical environment and a user state in the real-world physical environment are tracked based on the multi-modal sensor information. A process being performed by the user within a working domain is recognized based on the world state and the user state. A current step in the process is detected based on the world state and the user state. Domain-specific instructions directing the user how to perform an expected action are presented via a user interface device. A user action is detected based on the world state and the user state. Based on the user action differing from the expected action, domain-specific guidance to perform the expected action is presented via the user interface device.

Augmented Cognition Methods And Apparatus For Contemporaneous Feedback In Psychomotor Learning
A method of creating a scalable dynamic jointed skeleton (DJS) model for enhancing psychomotor leaning using augmented cognition methods realized by an artificial intelligence (AI) engine or image processor. The method involves extracting a DJS model from either live motion images of video files of an athlete, teacher, or expert to create a scalable reference model for using in training, whereby the AI engine extracts physical attributes of the subject including arm length, length, torso length as well as capturing successive movements of a motor skill such as swinging a gold club including position, stance, club position, swing velocity and acceleration, twisting, and more.
Communications training system
A communications training system is provided having a user interface, a computer-based simulator and a performance measurement database. The user interface is configured to receive a speech communication input from the user based on a training content and the computer-based simulator is configured to transform the speech communication to a text data whereby the text data can be aligned to performance measurement database values to determine a performance measure of the speech communication. The format of the text data and the performance measurement database values enable the speech communication to be aligned with predefined performance measurement database values representing expected speech communications for that training content.
