ON-THE-GO CORDLESS CURLING IRON
A portable curling iron device, equipped with an internal rechargeable battery, configured for the curling of hair of a user while on-the-go. The device exhibits a textured, heat resistant handle, at least one heating coil disposed within a curling head, and a USB port. Charging of the rechargeable battery is facilitated via a USB cable disposed in communication with a power source and the USB port. A heat-resistant carrying case bundled with the device enables the user to immediately store the device after use without concern for burning or damaging adjacent items. The device has a small form factor, ensuring it may easily be stored within a purse, bag, glove compartment, or similar small space.
BATTERY-OPERATED HAIR DRYER
A battery-operated hair dryer comprises a battery (B), and a fan (F) having rotating fan blades propelled by a motor (M) that is powered by the battery (B), and non-rotating static air flow-shaping vanes (V) between the motor (M) and a motor mount (MM), which non-rotating static airflow-shaping vanes (V) serve as cooling ribs for the battery (B) that is mounted adjacent to the fan (F). Preferably, the battery (B) is positioned adjacent to a motor mount (MM) of the motor (M) of the fan (F). Advantageously, the battery (B) is at least partly positioned in a handle of the battery-operated hair dryer, the fan (F) being positioned adjacent to the handle.
HAIRSTYLING DEVICE
A hairstyling device is provided. The hairstyling device includes a heatable hair contact member having a hair-contactable surface, the hair contact member being operable to apply heat to a tress of hair of a user via the hair-contactable surface. The hairstyling device includes a controller configured to determine that the hair contact member is moving along the tress from a first end of the tress towards a second end of the tress. The controller is configured to, based on the determining, control heating of the hair contact member to cause the operating temperature of the hair contact member to change as the hair contact member moves along the tress from the first end of the tress towards the second end of the tress.
Method and apparatus for manipulating the shape of hair
Apparatus for manipulating the shape of hair using dielectric heating is provided. Typically, the apparatus comprises opposing first and second electrodes respectively provided on first and second arms that are movable towards and away from one another; and drive circuitry for supplying electrical energy to the first and second electrodes, to cause an alternating electric field to be produced in the vicinity of the electrodes in use, and thereby cause dielectric heating of hair placed between the electrodes in use. Sensing circuitry may also be provided for sensing a change in coupling of energy from the alternating electric field to the hair during heating of the hair; and control circuitry for controlling the drive circuitry to vary the electrical energy supplied to the first and second electrodes in dependence upon the sensed change in coupling. A related method of manipulating the shape of hair using dielectric heating is also provided.
HAIRSTYLING DEVICE
A cordless hairstyling device, a method of operating the hairstyling device, and a computer program comprising a set of instructions, which, when executed causes a computerized device to perform the method is provided. The device includes a heatable hair contact member having a hair contact-able surface, the hair contact member being operable to apply heat to a tress of hair of a user via the hair contactable surface, at least one sensor configured to sense a change in state of the device from a first stationary state to a second moving state, and a controller configured to, in response to the at least one sensor sensing a change in state from the first state to the second state, cause the hair contact member to heat to a pre-determined operating temperature by a pre-determined amount of time after the detected state change.
WIRELESS HAIR STRAIGHTENER WITH DUAL HEATER
A wireless hair straightener according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a battery charged by an external power supply, a first switch, a first heating resistor, and a second heating resistor which are sequentially connected in series between one end of the external power supply and a ground, a second switch having one end connected to a connection point between the first switch and the first heating resistor and the other end connected to the ground, a third switch having one end connected to a connection point between the first heating resistor and the second heating resistor and the other end connected to one end of the battery, and a control unit that controls on and off operations of the first switch, the second switch, and the third switch, in which the other end of the battery is connected to the ground, and the other end of the external power supply is connected to the ground.
HAIR STYLING APPLIANCE
The present invention relates to a hair straightening apparatus having two arms pivotably coupled together and a heating plate on a facing side of at least one arm. A central pack disposed between the first arm and the second arm and coupled to the hair styling apparatus at the hinge end and a biasing means adapted to support the central pack symmetrically between the first arm and the second arm.
RECHARGEABLE HAIR STYLING TOOL
A rechargeable hair styling tool may be plugged into an electrical outlet to enable charging of each battery and operation of the hair styling tool. Electronics of the hair styling tool may enable it to alternately operate under power from the battery or batteries (i.e., stored power) while the hair styling tool is unplugged from an electrical outlet (e.g., a wall socket, etc.) and under power of an external source of electricity while the hair styling tool is plugged into the electrical outlet. Each heating element of such a rechargeable hair styling tool may be heated when the hair styling tool is plugged in and, once each heating element has been heated to a sufficient temperature, continue to function under power supplied by the battery or batteries of the rechargeable hair styling tool.
HEAT ENHANCED HAIR-SETTING TOOL
A hair-setting tool for setting hair styles is specifically configured to exhibit an improved hair-setting effect with the aid of heat. The heat-enhanced hair-setting tool of the present invention includes one or more heating components in or on the main body of the hair-setting tool. The heat required for setting hair may be provided by the heating components and/or by heating or re-heating the hair-setting tool to activate the heating components.
HAIR CURLING DEVICE
A hair curling device includes a hair curling mechanism including two pivot holes on left and right sides respectively; and a covering plate including two pivots on left and right sides respectively, the pivots being configured to insert into the pivot holes so as to pivotally secure the covering plate to the hair curling mechanism. The covering plate is configured to close or open the hair curling mechanism. When the covering plate is completely open, the hair curling mechanism is not covered by said covering plate.
