ELECTRONIC DEVICE

An electronic device includes a display panel having a display surface that includes a first region and a second region. The display panel outputs a first light in the first region and a second light in the second region. The first light has a first normal brightness in a first orthogonal direction and a first oblique brightness in a first inclined direction. The second light has a second normal brightness in a second orthogonal direction and a second oblique brightness in a second inclined direction. The included angles between the orthogonal directions and the corresponding inclined directions are acute angles. A ratio of a difference between the first normal brightness and the second normal brightness to the first normal brightness is less than a ratio of a difference between the first oblique brightness and the second oblique brightness to the first oblique brightness is defined as a second ratio.

Method for seamless splicing of special-shaped display screen and LED display screen

The present application relates to a method for seamless splicing of a special-shaped display screen, including: dividing the special-shaped display screen into a number of regular quadrilateral modules and a number of special-shaped modules; calculating a number of LED light pieces on a first side of a regular quadrilateral module after division; determining the number of the LED light pieces arranged on the first side of the regular quadrilateral module; calculating a number of LED light pieces arranged on a second side of the regular quadrilateral module, and the second side is adjacent to the first side; and continuing for the number of special-shaped modules obtained above.

AUTOMATIC USER INTERFACE RECONFIGURATION BASED ON EXTERNAL CAPTURE

A method to automatically adjust a user interface of a mobile device for readability is provided. A processor retrieves an external capture of a display of a mobile device. A processor converts text in the external capture to a computer readable format. A processor determines a readability index of the external capture based on a comparison of the text in the external capture to user interface data of the mobile device. A processor, in response to the readability index being below a threshold value, adjusts at least one display parameter of a user interface of the mobile device.

A display device includes: a first panel comprising pixels; and a second panel having a plate surface provided substantially parallel to a plate surface of the first panel. The plate surface of each of the first and second panels includes a curved surface. When the curved surface is a convex portion and two pixels controlled to transmit the light through the first panel are located in the convex portion, a distance between centers of two predetermined regions to which a blurring processing is applied corresponding to the two pixels is set smaller than a distance between the two the pixels. When the curved surface is a concave portion and the two pixels controlled to transmit the light through the first panel are located in the concave portion, the distance between the centers of the two predetermined regions is set larger than the distance between the two the pixels.

Display system and vehicle

A display system and vehicle that have novel structures are provided. The display system includes a display panel, a correction circuit, and a memory circuit. The display panel is flexible. The display panel includes a display region and a non-display region. The memory circuit has a function of storing first data about the display region and second data about the non-display region. The non-display region has a region which overlaps with the display region when the display panel is bent. The correction circuit has a function of generating image data to be written to pixels in the display region on the basis of the first data and the second data.
