A method of displaying text of an electronic document on a screen of an information terminal is proposed. The method includes: selecting a specific electronic document by a user; assigning new tags to all text of a corresponding electronic document selected by the user in units of words or letters so as to objectify the text; designating one page of text displayed on a screen of the information terminal by calculating a last word or a last letter at the bottom of that screen that may be displayed on a screen of the information terminal to the extent of not infringing the copyright of the electronic document; and selecting and performing a sequential display mode, a sequential disappearance mode, and an emphasis part designation mode, thereby allowing rapid reading training and enabling quicker review/revision of the parts that have already been studied and understood by a learner.

Near-to-eye displays support a range of applications from helping users with low vision through augmenting a real world view to displaying virtual environments. The images displayed may contain text to be read by the user. It would be beneficial to provide users with text enhancements to improve its readability and legibility, as measured through improved reading speed and/or comprehension. Such enhancements can provide benefits to both visually impaired and non-visually impaired users where legibility may be reduced by external factors as well as by visual dysfunction(s) of the user. Methodologies and system enhancements that augment text to be viewed by an individual, whatever the source of the image, are provided in order to aid the individual in poor viewing conditions and/or to overcome physiological or psychological visual defects affecting the individual or to simply improve the quality of the reading experience for the user.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISPLAYING FACILITY INFORMATION
20210373836 · 2021-12-02 ·

The present disclosure relates to methods for displaying facility information. One such method includes causing a client terminal to render on-screen floorplan data at a desired position and resolution, wherein the floorplan data is defined by a plurality of scalable resolution independent vector images, each resolution independent vector image representing a physical space in a facility. As set of rules are executed thereby to apply determined visual characteristics to one or more of the vector images, wherein each of the one or more vector images is associated with a data point in a building management system, and wherein for a given vector image the set of rules defines a relationship between observed data point values and visual characteristics to be displayed.

Display control apparatus, display system, and non-transitory computer readable medium

A display control apparatus includes an acquisition unit that acquires an image, a memory that stores multiple images acquired by the acquisition unit, a recognition unit that recognizes a size of a character included in an image to be displayed on a display from among the images stored on the memory, and a display controller that causes the display to display the images stored on the memory while switching from one image to another every set time period. The display controller determines a display setting of the image to be displayed on the display in response to the size of the character included in the image that the recognition unit has recognized and causes the display to display the image in the determined display setting.
