DISPLAY WALL SYNCHRONIZATION USING VARIABLE REFRESH RATE MODULES
A processing system synchronizes the display of a frame of video at an array of variable refresh rate (VRR) display modules of a display wall by dynamically adjusting a frequency and phase of the refresh rates of the VRR display modules via network protocols based on a selected master timing signal. The processing system selects a master timing signal and transmits the master timing signal to video processing units (VPUs) that render portions of the frame for display at the VRR display modules. Each VPU adjusts the frequency and phase of the VRR display modules for which it renders portions of the frame based on the master timing signal.
Display control apparatus, display system, and non-transitory computer readable medium
A display control apparatus includes an acquisition unit that acquires an image, a memory that stores multiple images acquired by the acquisition unit, a recognition unit that recognizes a size of a character included in an image to be displayed on a display from among the images stored on the memory, and a display controller that causes the display to display the images stored on the memory while switching from one image to another every set time period. The display controller determines a display setting of the image to be displayed on the display in response to the size of the character included in the image that the recognition unit has recognized and causes the display to display the image in the determined display setting.
Fluid container with digital display giving an indication of the state of the container
The invention relates to a pressurized gas container, having an internal volume for storing gas under pressure comprising a valve for distributing fluid, a pressure sensor for measuring the pressure of the gas and delivering at least one measurement signal, a microprocessor for processing the measurement signal delivered by the pressure sensor and a digital display. The microprocessor converts the measurement signal delivered by the pressure sensor into a measured pressure value, and compares the measured pressure value with at least one preset threshold-pressure value. The digital display displays at least one predefined term reflecting the amount of gas in the container, which is dependent on the comparison performed by the microprocessor.
Display device
A display device includes a display panel including a first image unit and a second image unit, a data driver which applies data voltages to the display panel, a first scan driver which applies write scan signals to the display panel, a second scan driver which applies compensation scan signals and initialization scan signals to the display panel, and a masking part connected to the second scan driver and which selectively applies the initialization scan signals to the second image unit.
DISPLAY DRIVING INTEGRATED CIRCUIT, DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF OPERATING SAME
A display driving integrated circuit (DDIC) driving a display device and including; a host interface configured to receive image data from a host device, an interface monitor configured to generate a mode signal indicating a still image mode or a video mode by detecting whether the image data from the host device is transferred through the host interface, a processing circuit configured to generate processed data by processing the image data, a conversion circuit configured to perform data conversion on the processed data to generate display data driving a display panel, and a path controller configured to store the processed data in a frame buffer and transfer the processed data stored in the frame buffer to the conversion circuit in the still image mode, and further configured to transfer the processed data to the conversion circuit without storing the processed data in the frame buffer in the video mode.
Display device and electronic device
A display device capable of improving image quality is provided. The display device includes a first circuit, a pixel, and a wiring. The first circuit has a function of supplying data to the wiring and a function of making the wiring floating to hold the data. The pixel has a function of taking in the data twice from the wiring and performing addition. The pixel can perform the first writing of the data in a period during which the data is supplied to the wiring, and can perform the second writing of the data in a period during which the data is held in the wiring. Therefore, by one time of data charging to a source line, a data potential larger than or equal to an output voltage of a source driver can be supplied to a display element.
Display apparatus and method of driving display panel using the same
A display apparatus includes a display panel, a data driver and a driving controller. The display panel is configured to display an image based on input image data. The data driver is configured to output a data voltage to the display panel. The driving controller includes a frequency adjuster circuit configured to determine a driving frequency of the display panel, and a dithering circuit configured to change a grayscale value of the input image data according to frames. The frequency adjuster circuit is configured to determine the driving frequency of the display panel based on the input image data and based on whether the dithering part is activated.
Scan-type display apparatus, and driving device and driving method thereof
A scan-type display apparatus includes an LED array, a display module, a control module and a driver module. The LED array has a common cathode configuration. The control module generates a synchronization control (SC) signal. Based on the SC signal, the driver module outputs an input voltage to scan lines of the LED array sequentially without overlapping in time so as to drive LEDs of the LED array to emit light in a line scan manner, and generates an image refresh signal that is related to the output of the input voltage to one of the scan lines which corresponds to a last line of the line scan in each line scan cycle and that is further related to refreshing of images on a display constituted by the LED array and the display module.
Permanent data indicator, permanent-data-indicator-managing and -adapting methods, terminal using same
A permanent data indicator and managing and adapting methods are provided. In particular, the permanent indicator is a pictogram permanently present on a screen of a terminal in active mode. The permanent indicator relates to a second datum and being able, furthermore, to form a permanent indicator relating to a first datum distinct from the second datum, the first datum being delivered by a first process implemented by the terminal. Thus, a given indicator is able to permanently inform the user of an active terminal of the value of the distinct datum, for example the permanent pictogram of a clock will indicate the time but also the time remaining to the next alarm, the weather forecast for the next 12 or 24 hours, air-quality, etc. The management of the permanent indicators will therefore be optimized.
