ELECTRONIC DEVICE, ELECTRONIC SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD
An electronic device, an electronic system, and a control method are provided. The electronic device includes a display, a memory, and a processor. The memory stores an audiovisual module and a control module. The processor receives initial image information from an external electronic device through a bridge device. The processor is coupled to the display and the memory. The processor executes the audiovisual module to transform the initial image information with a first image format into transformed image information with a second image format, which is compatible to the display. The processor controls the display to display according to the transformed image information. The processor executes the control module to receive a control signal for operating the transformed image information, and provide the control signal to the external electronic device through the bridge device.
Information processing device and connector switching method
An information processing device includes a processor, a plurality of connectors that output video signals to a plurality of connected external displays, a plurality of detectors that detect connection states of the plurality of connectors to the plurality of external displays, a plurality of switches that switch paths between a plurality of output ports and the plurality of connectors, and a controller that controls a switching operation of the plurality of switches. The controller has setting information that defines a relationship between the connection states of the plurality of connectors and at least one connector that outputs at least one of video signals among the plurality of connectors, and controls a switching operation of the plurality of switches based on the connection states detected by the plurality of detectors and the setting information. The setting information is set by the user.
Converter and conversion method for converting click position of display into light pen simulated signal for semiconductor manufacturing machine
Converter and conversion method for converting a click position of a flat panel display into a light pen simulated signal for a semiconductor manufacturing machine are provided. A converter includes a first connector, a second connector, and a controller coupled between the first connector and the second connector. The first connector is configured to obtain the click position from the flat panel display. The second connector is configured to provide the light pen simulated signal to the semiconductor manufacturing machine according to a synchronization signal from the semiconductor manufacturing machine. The controller is configured to generate the light pen simulated signal according to the click position and a mapping table of a first display resolution of the flat panel display and a second display resolution of the semiconductor manufacturing machine. The first display resolution is higher than the second display resolution.
Computer console for throttling the video bitrate of video streams to interface with an electronic device
An exemplary computer console can generate one or more video streams having image data relating to an image or a series of images, also referred to as video, to be presented by an electronic display device. The exemplary computer console can provide the one or more video streams to the electronic display device over one or more transport streams. The exemplary computer console can effectively throttle a video stream bitrate of the one or more video streams to be less than of the standard defined transport stream bitrate of the one or more transport streams to allow the transport of the one or more video streams over the one or more transport streams.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR CONTENT SHIFTING IN FOVEATED RENDERING
The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for graphics processing including an apparatus, e.g., a GPU. The apparatus may process at least one frame including frame content associated with a grid including a plurality of grid sections, each of a plurality of portions of the frame content being aligned with at least a portion of at least one of the plurality of grid sections. The apparatus may also shift the frame content with respect to the grid, such that at least one portion of the plurality of portions of the frame content is aligned with at least a portion of at least one distinct grid section of the plurality of grid sections. Additionally, the apparatus may store the shifted frame content including the at least one portion of the frame content that is aligned with at least a portion of the at least one distinct grid section.
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for managing collaboration on a virtual work of art
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for managing collaboration on a virtual work of art between multiple electronic devices are provided. A first graphical display system of a first device may generate an input command in response to receiving user information through a user interface of the first device, and may then share this input command with a second graphical display system of a second device. The first graphical display system may process the shared input command to generate pixel array data in a canvas of the first device while the second graphical display system may process the shared input command to generate pixel array data in a canvas of the second device. By sharing input commands rather than pixel array data, system latency may be reduced. Despite operating on the same artwork, the user interfaces and graphical processing capabilities of each device may vary, thereby providing the user greater expressiveness.

Energy conservation in a controller using dynamic frequency selection
Systems and methods of adjusting a frequency of a graphics controller may include a logic to determine a metric associated with an input/output (I/O) queue. The metric may be used to determine whether an I/O limited condition exists. The I/O limited condition may be associated with a graphics controller. There may be a logic to cause a frequency of the graphics controller to be decreased when the I/O limited condition exists, and a logic to cause the frequency of the graphics controller to be increased when the I/O limited condition does not exist. The I/O limited condition may exist when a magnitude of the metric is equal to or greater than a first threshold. The I/O limited condition may not exist when the magnitude of the metric is equal to or less than a second threshold.
