Systems, methods and apparatuses may provide for technology to reduce rendering overhead associated with light field displays. The technology may conduct data formatting, re-projection, foveation, tile binning and/or image warping operations with respect to a plurality of display planes in a light field display.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR RENDERING AND ENCODING CONTENT FOR ONLINE INTERACTIVE GAMING SESSIONS
This application is directed to a method of managing processing capability of a server system having one or more processing cores that further include multiple processing slices. Upon receiving requests to initiate online gaming sessions, the server system allocates each processing slice of the processing cores to a subset of the online gaming sessions to be executed thereon. A first processing slice is allocated to a first subset of the online gaming sessions including a first gaming session and a second gaming session. At the first processing slice, a time-sharing processing schedule is determined for the first subset of the online gaming sessions. In accordance with the time-sharing processing schedule, the first and second gaming sessions share a duty cycle of the first processing slice, and are executed dynamically and in parallel according to real-time data processing need of the first and second gaming sessions.
Display driver integrated circuit, display module and display system including the same
A display driver integrated circuit includes a first slave module and a second slave module. The first slave module is initially set as a primary module to receive a mode conversion command, and is disabled based on the mode conversion command. The second slave module is initially set as a secondary module that does not receive the mode conversion command, and is set as the primary module instead of the first slave module when the first slave module is disabled. The first and second slave modules control processing or transfer of data through a channel included in or coupled to a display according to a predetermined protocol.
Graphic processing unit and method of processing graphic data by using the same
A method and apparatus for processing graphic data, which are capable of decreasing a bandwidth of a memory, are provided. The method of processing graphic data includes receiving first graphic data and processing the first graphic data to generate second graphic data, and storing the generated second graphic data in a first shared memory line in which a state bit is set to a first state, wherein the first shared memory line is included in a first memory line set which is a part of an n-way set associative cache structure (n is a natural number equal to or greater than 2), at least one of the memory lines of the first memory line set is set to a second state which is different from the first state, and the state bit represents whether data stored in the memory line is replaceable.
LOOK UP TABLE MANAGEMENT METHOD OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND DEVICE
The embodiment of the present invention discloses a look up table management method of a liquid crystal display and a device. The method can include: obtaining an input data and an output data from a first look up table; performing preset operation to the output data to obtain a middle data, of which a sum of absolute values is smaller than a sum of the output data, and associatively storing the input data and the middle data to be a second look up table; as the liquid crystal display performs display, performing an inverse operation of the preset operation to the middle data in the second look up table which is corresponded with a display data inputted in real time to obtain and output an output data corresponded with the display data.
NUMERICAL CONTROLLER
A numerical controller includes a drawing processing unit that draws a screen on a display unit, an image display cycle measurement processing unit that measures a display cycle of the screen, and a drawing quality change processing unit that determines drawing quality of the screen based on the display cycle or a CPU processing amount estimated from the display cycle. The drawing processing unit draws the screen according to the drawing quality determined by the drawing quality change processing unit.
MULTI-PATH GRAPHICS RENDERING
Systems, methods, and displays are disclosed herein for multi-path graphics rendering. The aspects disclosed herein disclose a brute force learning technique to create a data set for correlating images to an optimal rendering technique. Other aspects disclosed herein disclosed employing the created data set for rendering and display the image data. Also provided herein are display devices configured and capable of employing the systems and methods disclosed herein.
ROBOTIC VEHICLE ACTIVE SAFETY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods implemented in algorithms, software, firmware, logic, or circuitry may be configured to process data and sensory input to determine whether an object external to an autonomous vehicle (e.g., another vehicle, a pedestrian, road debris, a bicyclist, etc.) may be a potential collision threat to the autonomous vehicle. The autonomous vehicle may be configured to implement active safety measures to avoid the potential collision and/or mitigate the impact of an actual collision to passengers in the autonomous vehicle and/or to the autonomous vehicle itself. Interior safety systems, exterior safety systems, a drive system or some combination of those systems may be activated to implement active safety measures in the autonomous vehicle.
Low Power Consumption Display Device
A display device (2) includes a processor (13) that outputs drawing data and a timing controller (11) that outputs the drawing data input from the processor according to horizontal synchronization and vertical synchronization. When a still image region where drawing data has not been updated compared with a previous frame and a moving image region where drawing data has been updated compared with a previous frame are included in one frame, the processor transmits data update information, which is for specifying the position of the moving image region or a line including the moving image region, to the timing controller temporally earlier than drawing data of the line including the moving image region. The timing controller performs processing for lowering the frame rate of the still image region or processing for thinning out some of image lines of the still image region based on the data update information.
Dynamic frame repetition in a variable refresh rate system
A method, computer program product, and system for adjusting a dynamic refresh frequency of a display device are disclosed. The method includes the steps of obtaining a current frame duration associated with a first image, computing, based on the current frame duration, a repetition value for a second image, and repeating presentation of the second image on a display device based on the repetition value. The logic for implementing the method may be included in a graphics processing unit or within the display device itself.
