FRET PRESS SYSTEM
A fret press system can install one or more frets in grooves of a substrate with a press connected to a caul. The fret may be positioned atop the groove prior to contacting the fret with a caul by operating the press. The fret may initially be forced into the groove with the caul with a first pressure before an incorrect fret position in the groove is detected with a sensor connected to the press. The caul can then be adjusting to correct the sensed incorrect fret position and subsequently used to finish installing the fret in the groove prior to a position of the fret in the groove being confirmed with the sensor.
FOLDABLE STRINGED INSTRUMENT
A foldable stringed instrument having a neck and/or body that may assume a reduced profile by folding an upper neck portion away from the playing position through the use of a translating bridge assembly and a translating truss assembly, wherein the foldable stringed instrument is capable of housing or otherwise being coupled to any of a variety of electronics or electrical components (e.g. a smart phone or tablet computer) having one or more applications (apps) for driving the operation, functionality and/or effects associated with the foldable stringed instrument.

MUSICAL STRING INSTRUMENT NUT AND BRIDGE FILE
A file for use in forming a groove in a nut or bridge of a string musical instrument. The file includes a filing edge that is rounded to the same radius as the string to be fitted in the groove it forms in the nut and bridge. A spine or rib is formed along the upper edge of the file to provide stiffening and permitting the file to not bow or flex when being used.

Attachable string bender
Some implementations can include a string bender including a body configured to attach to a bridge of a guitar or other stringed instrument. Some implementations can include a bridge with an integrated string bender. The string bender can be constructed to bend one or more strings, for example the B and/or G strings. The string bender can also be constructed to fit a variety of guitar styles, such as Fender Telecaster or Stratocaster-style guitars.

ENCAPSULATING TRAVEL GUITAR AND SIMILAR STRINGED INSTRUMENTS
A guitar is a stringed instrument including a body with a removable lid, bridge/saddle ensemble, two-piece neck, and head (with string channels) so all parts can fit into the instrument's body. The body and lower half of the neck are assembled (and disassembled) using a tongue-and-groove system. The neck pieces are adjoined with repeatable precision using 3 steel rod and tube assemblies. The head slides on and off the end of the neck using two rods/pins and a neck conforming head-to-neck stabilization receptacle. The removable bridge/saddle combination uses a pivot, bridge stabilizer, and pin system to hold it flush to the body, and when pinned down, holds all other pieces in place via the instrument's string tension.

Musical Instrument Pitch Changer System and Related Methods
A pitch changer system for a string musical instrument, including a lever assembly, a rotating saddle assembly, a swing plate, and a lever tensioning assembly. Applying force to move the lever in a first direction forces a bell crank matingly coupled to the lever into rotation such that a coupling system of the lever tensioning assembly causes the swing plate to force a rotating saddle of the rotating saddle assembly into rotation to elongate and thereby temporarily change the pitch of a string coupled to the rotating saddle.
