A drum cart for supporting and transporting a drum set between locations. The drum cart includes support arms, a handle, wheels and a support bracket adapted to releasably couple a bass drum to the drum cart and place the bass drum into a performance position by lying the drum cart on the ground horizontally.

A shoulder supported carrier structure supports percussion instruments on shoulder shoulders of a user is disclosed. A connecting member that spans between the shoulder supporting member behind the user or performer. The connecting member is joined to an arm that is connected to at a back member that allows the back member to pivot and translate relative to the two shoulder supporting members to allow the back member to align with a back of a user. The connecting member may be joined to the one arm with a frictional connection. The arm may be connected to the back member with a frictional connection. The back member at least partially contours to the shape of the back and may further include an inflatable cushioning bladder and is positioned between and under shoulder blades of the user to increase arm mobility.

An ergonomic harness for chin-free support of violins and violas that incorporates clamps for a stringed instrument, a support arm, and a stabilizer. A neck strap secures the harness system around the neck of a person playing a stringed instrument and holds the harness in place against the person's shoulder and/or chest. A support arm supports the weight of the instrument and a stabilizer prevents the support arm from rotating.

The invention relates to a composition comprising a) at least one N-methyl-N-acylglucamine of formula (I), wherein R.sup.1 represents a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon chain with 7 to 21 carbon atoms, one or more organic acids of formula (II) and/or the salts thereof, R.sup.2—COOM, wherein R.sup.2 represents a linear or branched alkyl group or a linear or branched mono- or poly-unsaturated alkenyl group with 5 to 29 carbon atoms, and M represents hydrogen or one or more cations, wherein the cations are present in charge-equalizing amounts, and c) one or more alkanolamines of formula (III), wherein NR.sup.1R.sup.2R.sup.3R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 represent hydrogen, a linear or branched alkyl group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group with 5 to 7 carbon atoms, a linear or branched hydroxyalkyl group with 2 to 5 carbon atoms and 1 or 2 hydroxy groups or a hydroxyether group with 2 to 6 carbon atoms, with the provision that at least one of the groups is a hydroxyalkyl group or a hydroxyether group.

A drumstick gripping device is provided for a drumstick comprising tip, shoulder and grip portions. The drumstick gripping device includes a collar defining a collar opening for the insertion and engagement of a drumstick. The diameter of the collar opening is larger than the diameter of the drumstick tip and shoulder portions and smaller than the diameter of at least a portion of a drumstick grip portion. The collar can be engaged to a portion of the drumstick grip portion. A looped finger grip defines a finger grip opening for the insertion of a finger. The finger grip is connected to the collar wherein the finger grip opening is offset from and transverse to the collar opening. A drumstick system and a method of drumming are also disclosed.

The invention relates to a device for carrying a wind instrument. The device comprises a Y-shaped frame having two arms (2, 2′) extending upward, which are arcuate at the free ends (9) of the arms, and a third arm extending downward, which forms a support (4). The two arms (2, 2′) and the support (4) converge in a connecting element (3) and are connected to each other there. The arms (2, 2′) can be designed as one piece together with the support (4) and the connecting element (3) in order to form a unit, or the arms (2, 2′) can be connected to the connecting element (3) in an insertable or pivotable manner. A retaining element (5) for hanging the wind instrument (17) is provided on the connecting element (3).

A musical instrument includes an instrument main body extending in a first direction, a first protruding portion that protrudes from one main side of the body, and at least one second protruding from the one main side and spaced from the first protruding portion in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The center of gravity of the main body is interposed between the first and second protruding portions in the second direction and located in a region defined by the first and second protruding portions. The region has a polygon shape.

A musical instrument stand, including: a stand including a plurality of leg columns, a height of each of the plurality of leg columns being adjustable; a musical instrument mount which is installed on the stand and on which a musical instrument is to be mounted; and a connector including an elastic member and connecting the stand and the musical instrument mount.

An illuminated instrument strap. The illuminated instrument strap includes an instrument strap having a fastener to removably secure the illuminated instrument strap to an instrument. A light operably connected to a control box is disposed along the length of the instrument strap. The control box includes a logic that is at least partially stored in a non-transitory computer readable medium and that, when executed at least in part by a controller, causes the light to illuminate in a pre-programmed pattern. In another embodiment, the control box includes a microphone, that transmits audio input information to a controller, causing the controller to synchronize an illumination of the light to the audio input information in a music visualization pattern.

A thumb-mountable support is disclosed for use on a support hand of a musician while playing an instrument of the violin-family. The thumb-mountable support includes a thumb ring and a saddle. The thumb ring is configured to at least partially surround the thumb of the support hand to facilitate securement of the thumb-mountable support to the thumb of the support hand. The saddle extends from the thumb ring and includes a lower surface configured to engage a generally V-shaped region formed between a thumb and body of the support hand, and also includes an upper surface configured to support a rear portion of a neck of the instrument.
