Image capturing apparatus and image capturing method
In a high speed image capturing state, a camera signal processing circuit is not needed to perform a signal process at a high screen rate, but at a regular screen rate. In the high speed image capturing mode, raw data of 240 fps received from an image sensor 101 are recorded on a recording device 111 through a conversion processing section 201 and a recording device controlling circuit 210. Raw data that have been decimated and size-converted are supplied to a camera signal processing circuit 203 through a pre-processing circuit 202 and an image being captured is displayed on a display section 112 with a signal for which a camera process has been performed. In a reproducing state, raw data are read from the recording device 111 at a low screen rate according to a display performance of the display section 112 and the raw data that have been read are processed are processed by the pre-processing circuit 202 and the camera signal processing circuit 203 and a reproduced image is displayed by the display section 112.
Generating content for a virtual reality system
The disclosure includes a system and method for generating virtual reality content. For example, the disclosure includes a method for generating virtual reality content that includes a stream of three-dimensional video data and a stream of three-dimensional audio data with a processor-based computing device programmed to perform the generating, providing the virtual reality content to a user, detecting a location of the user's gaze at the virtual reality content, and suggesting an advertisement based on the location of the user's gaze. Another example includes receiving virtual reality content that includes a stream of three-dimensional video data and a stream of three-dimensional audio data to a first user with a processor-based computing device programmed to perform the receiving, generating a social network for the first user, and generating a social graph that includes user interactions with the virtual reality content.
System and method for recording a video scene within a predetermined video framework
A computer-implemented video method includes receiving a first digital video file and a second digital video file; recognizing the first digital video file as a beginning scene and the second digital video file as an ending scene; receiving a user input to record a middle scene, wherein the beginning scene, the middle scene, and the ending scene being configured to form a full video; and responsive to a user input to record, providing a real-time queue for the recording by sequentially, in real-time: 1) first, playing the beginning scene within a first preview window on the video display; 2) second, recording the middle scene and simultaneously displaying the middle scene within a video capture window on the video display; and 3) third, playing the ending scene within a second preview window on the video display.
Real-time video commenting
The present invention enables real-time video commenting by viewers of media content on a web site. The media content may be video, audio, text, still images or other types of media content. When a content viewer indicates a desire to provide a real-time video comment, a content server causes a video input device at the content viewer's location to be activated. The content viewer's video comment is captured by the video input device and transmitted to the content server, where it is stored and associated with the video being commented upon. When the original video is subsequently presented to content viewers, indicia of the video comment such as a thumbnail or description of the comment is also presented, thus inviting content viewers to view the video comment in addition to the original video.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS OF VIDEO PROCESSING
A method of processing a video includes capturing a first set of video data at a first definition, transmitting the first set of video data at a second definition lower than the first definition wirelessly to a user terminal, receiving a video edit request wirelessly from the user terminal, and finding video corresponding to edited video data described by the video edit request, thereby forming a second set of video data at a third definition. The video edit request is formed from editing the received first set of video data at the second definition at the user terminal.

System and method for presenting virtual reality content to a user
This disclosure describes a system configured to present primary and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content to a user. Primary virtual reality content may be displayed to a user, and, responsive to the user turning his view away from the primary virtual reality content, a sensory cue is provided to the user that indicates to the user that his view is no longer directed toward the primary virtual reality content, and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be displayed to the user. Primary virtual reality content may resume when the user returns his view to the primary virtual reality content. Primary virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's interaction with the secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content. Secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's progression through the primary virtual reality content, or interaction with the primary virtual reality content.
IMAGE CAPTURING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
This invention provides an image capturing apparatus that has an image capturing portion and records captured image data into a recording medium, where the image capturing apparatus comprises an acquiring portion configured to acquire information indicating a standard of the recording medium from the recording medium, the standard being related to writing; and a control portion configured to, when at least two types of images are to be recorded as separate files from among images acquired from the image capturing portion, perform processing for recording into the recording medium in accordance with the information acquired by the acquiring portion and types of the two different types of images to be recorded.
Wearable Recording System With Memory Designation
A surveillance apparatus continuously records imaged data from a camera into a circular buffer in a local memory. When a record signal is received, the system records the video stream that was recorded before the record signal was received, and the video stream that is recorded after the record signal was received. The recorded segment is then write-protected, so that the surveillance apparatus does not overwrite the recorded segment. The recorded segment could then be sent to a remote memory via a wireless connection to free up local memory for future recording sessions.
Mounting a smartphone to robotic accessor of automated data storage library
According to one embodiment, a computer-implemented method for remotely controlling a capture of images of a data storage library during operation thereof with a bracket on an accessor includes pairing a remote controller to a wireless image capture device that is coupled to a bracket mounted on an accessor, instructing the wireless image capture device to start recording images of the data storage library during operation thereof, including movement of the accessor, and thereafter, instructing the wireless image capture device to stop recording images of the data storage library during operation thereof.
