Body-carried device with heat dissipation system
10932546 · 2021-03-02 ·

A body-carried device includes a receiving bag, two carrying straps, and a heat dissipation system on the backside of the receiving bag. The heat dissipation system has a pump and an airflow guide tube unit. When a user's lower back directly contacts and pushes the pump, the air in the pump is pushed into the main tube and branch tube of the airflow guide tube unit. Some of the air exits the body-carried device through the main tube while the remainder of the air enters the heat dissipation area of the receiving bag through the branch tube. When the user's lower back moves away from the pump, the pump is elastically restored in shape to draw ambient air through the airflow guide tube unit into the pump.

Upper body garment with integrated backpack

Aspects herein are directed to an upper-body garment that can be converted into a backpack. The upper-body garment comprises a pouch structure located on an outer-facing surface of a back aspect of the garment. The upper-body garment further includes first and second closure mechanisms positioned on the outer-facing surface of the back aspect of the garment. To convert the upper-body garment into the backpack, the sleeves are folded inward, and the back aspect of the garment is folded toward the front of the garment so as to align the first and second closure mechanisms. The closure mechanisms can be releasably mated to each other to form the backpack and to enclose the upper-body garment within the backpack.

Heat dissipating backpack

A panel attachable to a backpack body. The panel having at least one through-hole formed therein to allow air to flow into a gap defined between the panel and the backpack body. An air-moving device is mountable to the panel, with an outer portion of the air-moving device extending forwardly from the panel and an inner portion of the air-moving device positioned in the gap. The air-moving device causes air to flow into the gap through the at least one through-hole and into one or more inlets of the inner portion. The air-moving device causes air to flow out one or more outlets of the outer portion.

A backpack frame assembly for a user during activity is described. The frame includes a substantially flat panel configured to be attached to a back area of a backpack, a vented portion configured to allow air to reach a user's back, and a plurality of spacers positioned on the panel to contact the user's back and create a gap between the user's back and the frame/backpack. Preferably, the backpack frame assembly also includes at least one air diverter attached to the panel to direct air into the gap.

Backpack configured to dissipate heat

A backpack that includes a backpack body and an air moving device. The backpack body has at least one air duct formed therein. The air moving device provides an airflow to the at least one air duct. The at least one air duct is configured to deliver the airflow to a back of a wearer, which dissipates heat along the back of the wearer.

Backpack system

A backpack system or personal load bearing system uses a lightweight, SRC (semi-rigid core) and hanger suspension system, that compresses the center of the body between the xiphoid process and the lower back to a compressive force to transfer the load upward and forward while freeing up the shoulders. The SRC is provided that is made out of a semi-rigid plastic such as ABS plastic, carbon fiber composite or any other non-compressible material with similar structural characteristics. Left and right hooks pass over, forward and downward over the chest and are joined at a central coupling at a center of the human body, the xiphoid process, a small extension of the sternum. Right and left lower straps extend to left and right lower support sites to form a arched cage on the user. A belt wraps around the waist on top of the hip bones to limit lateral movement.

A backpack has an air flow guide panel connected to the rear side of a rear storage pocket of the backpack such that an air flow channel is defined between opposing surfaces of the air flow guide panel and the rear storage pocket. The air flow guide panel and the pocket are shaped and arranged to define an inlet opening and an outlet opening in fluid communication with the air flow channel. The inlet opening is located adjacent the bottom of the pocket and the outlet opening is spaced apart along the height of the pocket from the inlet opening toward the top of the pocket. A blower is supported on the backpack for blowing air through the air flow channel along a flow path extending from the inlet opening through the outlet opening.
