The panels are each resiliently connected to a nose portion and separated by a spacing that tapers to a contact point from the distal portions of the panels to their proximal portions. The second panel has a wedge-shaped portion in which the width of the panel increases from its distal end to its proximal end. The bottom surface of the first panel is concave, the preferable concavity being close to that of the curvature of a hat brim. The top surface of the second panel is convex. The preferable convexity is close to that of the curvature of the brim. The top surface of the second panel includes a channel adapted to receive the fabric border of the undersurface of a hat brim. The top surface of the first panel includes at its proximal end structure adapted to receive an accessory device.

Accessory holders are described having a mounting portion that attaches the accessory holder to wearable support structure, and a carrier frame that holds a first personal accessory. A rotating arm connects the carrier frame to the mounting portion. The carrier frame includes a retaining mechanism, such as an elastomeric strap, nylon webbing, hook and loop fasteners, etc., for holding the first personal accessory to the carrier frame. The arm includes a hinge configured to allow the carrier frame to move between a folded position and an unfolded position with respect to the mounting portion and the mounting portion includes attachment means, such as attachment or mounting straps, spear fittings, hook and loop fasteners, etc., for securing the accessory holder to the wearable support structure.

The belt clip assembly further includes a clip coupled to the device retainer via the clip pin and the clip includes a detent and the clip is further defined to retain a tab pin. A tab is coupled to the clip via the tab pin, the tab being rotatable about the tab pin. Wherein the device retainer is initially rotatable about the clip pin independent of rotation of the tab about the tab pin. Additionally, the rotation of the device retainer about the clip pin results in a finite displacement of the device retainer.

Connectors for adjusting the location and/or orientation of a helmet accessory relative to a helmet are disclosed. In some embodiments, a connector may have a single lock and/or a single actuator that a user uses to selectively restrict or permit adjustment of the helmet accessory in multiple directions, including translating and/or rotating the helmet accessory relative to the helmet along one or more axes of translation and/or rotation.

Described herein is a hip extension device adapted to be worn by a user. The device is secured adjacent to the hip of a user and forms a ledge-like resting surface for the supporting of objects for carrying. The device includes an inner structural member comprised of hingedly coupled rigid plates movable from an open position to a closed position. A removable cover portion is placed around the inner structural member and allows a user access to an inner cavity for the storage of items. A clip portion is coupled to the device to allow for securing to the user's clothing against their body side. To offer additional support, the device may include a strap.
