Multi-property applicator assembly and methods of use
An applicator assembly having an application element, a blending element and a retaining element. The application element comprises a material configured to retain an application material and distribute the application material onto a surface and the blending element comprises a material configured to distribute the application material on the surface. Together the application and blending elements allow the process of transferring, distributing and blending the application material onto the surface to be performed with a single application assembly. Embodiments of the applicator assembly have the application element and the blending element to be comprised of materials with different characteristics.
Paint Brush with Removable Head, Sliding Ferrule and Removable Accessory Tool
A paintbrush features a handle having a longitudinal direction with a gripping area and a first attachment element at opposite ends. A removable brush head has longitudinally oriented bristles and a second attachment element selectively matable with the first attachment element to carry the removable brush head on the handle. The first and second attachment elements are slidingly matable in a lateral direction transverse to the longitudinal direction. A ferrule is slidable longitudinally of the handle into and out of a deployed position closing around the attachment elements to prevent disconnection thereof, and a retracted position enabling removal and replacement of the brush head. The handle comprises a hollow compartment extending longitudinally into the handle from the distal end opposite the brush head. An accessory tool is removably received in the hollow compartment of the handle for storage therein.
PAINT BRUSH
A paint brush that is configured to be suspendedly mounted within the interior volume of a paint can. The invention includes a handle member wherein the handle member has a crimp member and bristle members secured to a second end of the handle member. The handle member includes a pry member formed on the first end thereof. An upper indentation is formed into the handle member proximate the first end. A lower indentation is formed in the crimp member. The lower indentation includes a void that is angular in orientation wherein the void is accessed by an opening present in the lateral edge of the crimp member. The lateral edge of the crimp member further includes a lip member forming a point proximate the upper end of the opening. The void angles from the lateral edge inwards and upwards towards the center of the crimp member.
