Grill cleaner
A grill cleaner with a handle and a head is provided. The handle includes a first end and a second end. The head is attached to the second end of the handle. The present invention further includes a grill brush including a block and a plurality of bristles protruding from the block. The grill brush is removeably attached to the head so that the grill brush may be easily replaced once the bristles have been worn down. A bristle wear indicator is attached to and protrudes from the head beyond the block and ending at a plane in between a first end of the plurality of bristles and a second end of the plurality of bristles. Therefore, once the bristles have worn down to the plane, the user is indicated to replace the grill brush.
REPLACEMENT INDICATING BRUSH
A wear indicator is provided, which is suitable for use with a workpiece, such as a replaceable brush head. In use, the wear indicator can provide an indication to the user recommending that the workpiece be replaced.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING DEVICE USAGE DATA
Included are embodiments of a system for monitoring device usage. The system may include a handheld device for performing an action, where the handheld device includes an engagement sensor and a computer that includes a processor and a memory component. The memory component stores logic that causes the computer to determine a minimum device engagement time of the handheld device. In some embodiments, the logic causes the computer to receive output data from the engagement sensor, where the output data includes an actual device engagement time, determine if the actual device engagement time is at least as long as the minimum device engagement time, and in response to determining that the actual device engagement time is at least as long as the minimum device engagement time, determine the action taken by the handheld device.
COMPUTERIZED COSMETICS BRUSHES
A computer-implemented method of training a user to effectively apply makeup using a computerized makeup brush, the method comprising the steps of receiving, from a computerized makeup brush that comprises one or more sensors for sensing the movement of the makeup brush relative to a particular portion of a user's body, data representing a movement of the makeup brush relative to the particular portion of the user's body over a particular period of time as the makeup brush is used to apply makeup brush to the particular portion of the user's body, and using the data to generate and display, to a user, a visual representation of the movement of the makeup brush over the particular period of time on a display that is operatively coupled to the computerized makeup brush.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR QUANTIFYING A WEAR LEVEL OF A BRISTLE FIELD OF A BRUSH
A method and device for quantifying a wear level of a bristle field of a brush are disclosed comprising a plurality of bristle tufts grouping each a plurality of single bristles, said bristle tufts being distributed over the bristle field, the method comprising the steps of recording and storing an image of the bristle field; converting the image into a gray scale image by use of digital image processing and storing the gray scale image; converting the gray scale image to at least one binarized image with only two tone values by use of digital image processing, thereby assigning one tone value to bristles and/or bristle tufts visible in the image and the other tone value to the background in the image not showing bristles or bristle tufts, and storing the binarized image.
DETACHABLE HEATING CURLING APPARATUS
A detachable heating curling apparatus is provided. The detachable heating curling apparatus includes a detachable cylindrical curling unit with a first closed end and a second end, the second end including a second coupling section and a heating unit. The heating unit includes a first and second end, the first end including a first coupling section for coupling with the second end of the detachable cylindrical curling unit, the second end for receiving an electrical source. The respective first and second coupling sections providing for an uncoupling of the first end of the heating unit and the second end of the detachable cylindrical curling unit.
Personal Care Products And Methods
In one embodiment, an oral-care system is provided. The oral-care system includes an electric toothbrush having a motor, a power source in electrical communication with the motor, and a bristle holder operatively connected to the motor. A display is in data communication with the electric toothbrush.
Personal care device
A personal care device (12) comprising an RF signal generator (32) for generating RF-frequency electromagnetic emissions for a cleaning or treatment function. The RF emissions may be output from a set of two or more RF electrodes (22) (e.g. electrodes) upon stimulation with an RF drive signal in a frequency range from 3 kHz to 30 GHz from an RF signal generator. The device further includes a controller (34) for detect a degraded functional state of the RF electrodes (22) via monitoring changes or variations in one or more electrical characteristics of the RF signal generator (32), e.g. drift in one or more electrical characteristics from reference factory levels, or sudden changes in the characteristics, indicating a short-circuit. A response action can be generated based on the electrical characteristics meeting pre-defined criteria indicative of a certain degraded functional status, for example generating a sensory alert for a user or data output, or performing remedial action such as deactivating sensed defective or worn electrodes.
APPARATUS FOR COLLECTION OF NON-METALLIC AND METALLIC FOREIGN OBJECT DEBRIS
A system and method for collection of non-metallic and metallic foreign object debris (FOD) is disclosed. The foreign object debris system consists of one or more debris collection modules and can be deployed in various width configurations. Debris collection modules can be pulled, pushed, attached to moving equipment, vehicles or to a tow trailer to provide motion. Each pickup module consists of a frame, a debris bin area, a brush, one or more rigid ramp(s) with replaceable tip(s). Multiple debris collection modules can be connected to form a wider or narrower sweeping width. As the foreign object debris system travels forward, debris travels up the tip(s) and ramp(s) and is deposited into a debris bin.
PERSONAL CARE DEVICE
In accordance with the present disclosure, a personal care device has a handle section allowing a user to grasp the personal care device with a hand, a head section for providing a personal care treatment to a personal care area, the head section being detachably attached to the handle section, a drive unit having a motor for driving at least a portion of the head section into motion, a controller arranged and/or structured for (a) providing a periodic driving signal at the motor, the periodic driving function essentially being adaptable by a controllable weighting factor, (b) determining at least one phase-shift value between the periodic drive signal and a periodic motor response signal, and (c) determining, based on the determined phase-shift value, (c1) whether the head section is attached to the handle section, and/or (c2) a type of the head section being attached to the handle section, and/or (c3) a state of wear of the head section being attached to the handle section.
