Angle ruler
An angle ruler includes a ruler, a ruler holder and a digital display module, the digital display module is fixed on the ruler holder and the ruler holder has an inclined edge. The angle ruler can not only retain the using habit of the user, but also can make the reading more convenient, accurate and time-saving.
TOOLS AND METHODS FOR LOCATING STUDS IN A WALL
A tool, system, and method are disclosed for locating a hidden stud and identifying angles on a finished wall. The tool includes an elongated housing, at least one magnet, and at least one level. The housing has a generally planar contact surface disposed opposite a viewing surface. The at least one magnet is secured to the housing such that a magnetic field from the at least one magnet extends from the contact surface. The level is secured to the housing such that the level is viewable from the viewing surface. The at least one magnet, the level, and the housing are sized relative to each other such that a magnetic attraction between the at least one magnet and a metallic element in the wall is sufficient to maintain the tool on the wall without external support.

GRADING TOOLS
An apparatus to grade a surface is provided. The apparatus includes an elongated member with a straight edge to grade a surface. In addition, the apparatus includes a height gauge to attach to an end of the elongated member. The height gauge is to engage a border of the surface. Furthermore, the apparatus includes a connector to connect the height gauge to the elongated member. The apparatus also includes a first surface on the height gauge. The first surface is to engage a side wall of the border to grade the surface proximate to the side wall. The apparatus further includes a second surface on the height gauge offset from the straight edge by a distance. The second surface is to engage a top surface of the border such that the straight edge is to grade the surface at the distance below the top of the border.

MOTION-SENSITIVE FIELD EFFECT TRANSISTOR, MOTION DETECTION SYSTEM, AND METHOD
Disclosed are a motion-sensitive field effect transistor (MSFET), a motion detection system, and a method. The MSFET includes a gate structure with a reservoir containing conductive fluid and gate electrode(s). Given position(s) of the gate electrode(s) and a fill level of the fluid within the reservoir, contact between the gate electrode(s) and the fluid depends upon the orientation the MSFET channel region relative to the top surface of the conductive fluid and the orientation of the MSFET channel region relative to the top surface of the conductive fluid depends upon position in space and/or movement of the MSFET and, particularly, position in space and/or movement of the chip on which the MSFET is formed. An electrical property of the MSFET in response to specific bias conditions varies depending on whether or not or to what extent the gate electrode(s) contact the fluid and is, thus, measurable for sensing chip motion.
Combination of a cover plate and a drain and use of such combination
A combination of a cover plate and a drain, preferably a floor drain is described. The cover plate is provided with first locking means and the drain is provided with cooperating second locking means for releasable connection of the cover plate to the floor drain. The cover plate is a temporary cover plate for use during installation of the drain. The cover plate may be used for a temporary protection of a drain during installation of the drain and for installing and adjusting the inclination of the drain without the need of separate levelling tools. To obtain this the cover plate is provided with levelling means for determining the orientation of the cover plate and thereby also the drain in relation to a horizontal or a vertical plane. The first locking means or the second locking means comprises a weakening arranged such that at least a part of the locking means is preferably damaged when the cover plate is removed from the drain to ensure that the cover is not reused.

Laser receiver and target with lighted indicators
A movable accessory for an automatic point layout system includes a laser receiver, target screen, and an array of LEDs. A laser controller aims a vertical laser light plane toward any desired point on the jobsite. The user moves the accessory into the laser light plane, thereby impacting a photosensor on the laser receiver. The accessory's electronic controller translates that laser light impact and illuminates a corresponding LED. The illuminated LED indicates the desired point of interest on the jobsite floor for the user to mark. An electronic distance measuring instrument (an LDM) aims along the same laser plane, and the target screen reflects the LDM signal to provide a distance reading, which is sent to a remote controller operated by the user. Alternatively, the LED array indicates where the laser plane strikes the photosensor, allowing the user to quickly move the accessory to the null position of the photosensor.
