The present disclosure relates to a route search system including a route search apparatus that communicates with a mobile terminal. The route search apparatus includes: a communication unit that receives, from the mobile terminal, a search request including identification information of a user, and transmits a search result corresponding to the search request to the mobile terminal of the user; and a control unit that executes a search process for a multimodal route that includes at least one of a pedestrian route, a non-public route, and a public route, in accordance with the received search request, and causes the communication unit to transmit the multimodal route as a search result. The control unit causes a passage schedule of the at least one route, and identification information, of traveling means used for traveling along the at least one route, which is associated with the identification information of the user, to be included in a data content of the multimodal route.

Systems and methods to authenticate a vehicle operator for an autonomous vehicle on a vehicle service platform are provided. In one example embodiment, a computer-implemented method includes obtaining authentication request data indicative of an authentication request, the authentication request data including at least an operator identifier associated with the vehicle operator and a vehicle identifier associated with the autonomous vehicle. The method includes providing a service code associated with the authentication request to the autonomous vehicle. The method includes obtaining from a user device in response to providing the service code to the autonomous vehicle, operator data associated with the authentication request, the operator data including the service code. The method includes determining an authentication result associated with the authentication request based at least in part on the service code and the operator data. The method includes providing the authentication result to the user device.

A system for preventing abnormal acceleration of a vehicle includes a device configured such that in a state in which the vehicle is stopped while the vehicle is turned on, the device is configured to determine whether abnormal acceleration prevention is necessary based on a final destination or a current position of the vehicle before the vehicle is turned off to thereby limit a vehicle speed. The system and a method for preventing abnormal operation of the vehicle can prevent a vehicle accident due to the abnormal acceleration caused by misoperation by a driver, such as misoperation of an accelerator pedal of the vehicle.

Systems and methods are provided for suggesting a charging station for an electric vehicle. A partial range of the electric vehicle corresponding to a predetermined percentage of the current state of charge of a battery of the electric vehicle is determined. A location corresponding to the partial range, along a route to a destination, is determined and used to select a suggested charging station based on the location corresponding to the partial range. The suggested charging station is generated for presentation at a display.

An apparatus, method and computer program product are provided for providing signature reduction for a vehicle. For example, the apparatus receives a destination for a vehicle as input, selects a subset from a plurality of road segments as a route from a location to the destination, and outputs the route or a portion thereof. An operational system of the present disclosure is an operational system for a plurality of fuel cell electric vehicles. The operational system is equipped with a decision unit that decides a single operational route based on supply amounts of hydrogen available from a plurality of hydrogen stations respectively, from among a plurality of candidates of an operational route of each of the fuel cell electric vehicles, and a scheduling unit that schedules the filling of each of the fuel cell electric vehicles with hydrogen at the hydrogen station or hydrogen stations included on the decided operational route. The decision unit decides the new operational route based on post-change available supply amounts of hydrogen in the case where the supply amounts of hydrogen available from the respective hydrogen stations change when each of the fuel cell electric vehicles runs on the decided operational route.

A method for generating energy-optimized travel routes for a motor vehicle includes one or more of the following: receiving an origin destination (OD) of the motor vehicle and an encrypted energy consumption database of the motor vehicle; generating N candidate routes for the OD; evaluating encrypted energy consumption over a route using an encrypted energy consumption database; applying at least one of homomorphic addition function or homomorphic multiplication function to the encrypted energy consumption data; and returning N candidate routes and their encrypted energy consumption to a client.
Apparatus and method for detecting deviation vehicle
A vehicle includes: an input configured to receive a destination; a display; a driver assistance system configured to control a behavior of the vehicle based on surrounding environment information; and a controller configured to control the display to display a driving route. The controller may be configured to determine, when a distance between a branch point on the driving route and the vehicle reaches a first distance, a possibility that the vehicle deviates from the driving route based on GPS information, vehicle speed information, and the surrounding environment information, and search for, when the possibility is greater than or equal to a preset threshold, a deviation route for reaching the destination based on the deviated direction and control the display to display the deviation route until the distance between the branch point on the driving route and the vehicle reaches a second distance.
